24 hours is not enough training for a teacher to go against an active shooter. In fact you had police with hundreds of hours of training that were scared.

There are guns all around the world but mass shootings don't happen all around the world. The problem is Americans.

In this current climate in our country I firmly believe that every school resource officer should have a long gun on their person at all times and that there be at least 3 SR officers per school armed with a long gun.

Uvalde police officers had AR-15 and ballistic shields. They didn’t save the kids at Robb Elementary. It’s just plain cowardice! AR-15 rifles won’t change the outcome.

I agree with the Sheriff it's no different than a unit showing up at the location with a long rifle. It's (sad )that it's come to this at an institution of learning. But it's a different time in this Country.

All guards, police officers, teachers, doctors, nurses, business owners, pastors, church elders, church deacons, citizens, non-citizens and anyone over 23 without a drug, gang, criminal record or warrants should be armed by the government with Assault Rifles and free ammo by law with fines if you don’t have your weapon with you.
