2:47 is when it got me. I had a stuck bolt in the carrier. I couldn’t get cam out. And when I slung it to tested if it moved freely, it slid right out 😂 thanks man.
Happened on my LR 308 build twice before I took apart the bolt carrier extractor and then reassembled it. I was able to quickly extract the rounds both times without any tools by "Mortaring" the gun. Basically, to Mortar the gun, you fully collapse the stock and pull back on the charging handle while giving the butt of the gun a quick smack on the ground. Works like a champ!
That rubber ring around the extractor spring caused too much tension in mine, removed the rubber ring so only the spring was present and it’s been perfect ever since
I kinda had a similar problem with a 300 blackout build , I started with a Sharps reliabolt and the cam pin was gouging the anodizing of the new faxon upper receiver and would drag when i manually cycle it the first 1/2 inch so I replaced it with a faxon bcg and it’s smooth as butter, I measured and everything seems to be the same size so I’m kinda at a loss everything new B.A. barrel maybe just simply tolerance stacking 🤷🏽
I know! Its from the coating, happens from time to time with now NB BCG's (work at a custom firearms shop). Normally after cycling it a few times its good to go.
Bang your stock or buffer tube on the ground while pulling the charging handle down. If it’s loaded stay away from the barrel obviously. And problem is solved very easily in the field. My grandpa was a veteran and also said to piss on your AR it will make it work lmao.
I have a bca 16 upper and a bca 10.5 upper. The 10.5 seemed to get stuck halfway thru taking it out and I had the same problem. So I took the bcg out of the 16 and put it in my 10.5 and worked perfect. Weirdly enough I put the 10.5 original bcg that was getting stuck into the 16 inch and that worked perfect too weird but oh well lol
Appreciate this… I was panicked thinking I was going to have to break my stock mortaring my weapon… the screwdriver worked and she’s shooting better than ever.
I have an ar15 rn thats got literally 0 rounds through it. I can take it apart and take out the bolt carrier and shit but once its together it won't slide back its just stuck i oiled everything everything's lubricated idk.. im gonna end up at a gun Shop before this is over im sure its something dumb. It was working fine when I first got it ot sat for a month or so and bam its jammed won't slide

If you are waiting that long for parts, you must have ordered from Optics Planet…they love taking my order and waiting up to a month to ship my items.

man I still cannot fix this please help
Would it had fired if you pulled the trigger or remained jammed possibly causing a explosion.
I have a bca 16 upper and a bca 10.5 upper. The 10.5 seemed to get stuck halfway thru taking it out and I had the same problem. Bro stfu and just say what you did, get to the point
If anyone has Info on the bolt carrier at 3:06 I’d appreciate it
I’m having issues with my upper receiver sticking my bolt carriers on the way back it doesn’t get jammed it’s just an extremely tight tension point
YO whats the brand of the second bolt carrier you showed with the sharper edges to compare extractor tension at 3:06
This guy is not even funny!
i bought a brand new m&p sport 2 first round it does this lol. not had any rounds thru it yet bc the bcg is stuck, might take it to gunsmith
This chan is fantastic.
