I know this is an older post, but at 7:30 talking about the barrel and trunnion you say the torx screws are torqued to 180 ft pounds, isn't that inch pounds? I scanned through the comments and didn't see anyone address this.

You need to get a suppressor for the BRN-180, it's a great suppressor host with less gas in the face !!!!!!!!!

Does the fact that it's gas piston and not impingement make it less accurate or not shoot as far?

Brownells sells this and the .300Blk version here in Austria and I think I‘m gonna build a pistol like this once I got my license.
Even tough it will be a guarantee for idiots to approach me on the range and make stupid comments about how this is illegal or how nobody needs this or whichever bs they can think off.

I just found a buffer tube I didn’t realize I had! Now I’m forced to build another AR because I refuse to be wasteful!!

Update: I ordered a lower parts kit for my new build so I didn’t waste that hand guard & those bastards sent me two hammer springs! 🤯! The wife isn’t going to be happy about me having to build another one right after this one is done. I can’t waste a hammer spring. Just think about all the waste that goes on in the world! And to democrats out there who are scared & angry about my news guns i have to ask you, would you rather this spring that’s made with toxic materials known in the state of California to cause birth defects to end up in a land fill and possibly end up in your drinking water ? I didn’t think so! I’m conscious about this whole climate problem you talk about. Not that I agree but I’m just going to comply by not wasting any of my extra gun parts!

2nd Update: After this posting I went to the range and let 20 rounds go down range. Upon this I looked at the ground in complete disgust of my hypocrisy & when I saw those empty cases littered all over the ground, knowing Mother Earth is unable to break them down for at least the next 200 years & knowing they were lubricated with toxic chemicals known in the state of California to cause birth defects & cancer + the poisonous powder that was once contained in those cases; I picked them up and put them in my pocket. However this just caused a new crisis for me. Now I have to order reloading supplies to do my part with a sustainable planet & I am unable to find powder or primers anywhere. It’s hard work doing my part! Lol

The only thing I’m curious about is accuracy? It doesn’t appear the barrel is near as secure as a normal system. That doesn’t look like much metal securing it to the upper? Am I wrong ?

I have one also. Put your pivot pin in first and then the takedown pin. Works a lot better

Gas piston systems I’ve researched are more reliable systems, less maintenance requiring I wonder why we don’t see folding ARs more commonly…. you gotta build em or pay 2k plus for the mcx, rock arms, etc.

I just ordered me a 7.5 AR-STONER Gas Piston complete upper receiver for my FIRST AR build. I am pretty nervous but I can’t can’t find a Sig Rattler without all them price gouges! 👍🏽
