There are a handful of red dot magnifiers available but not all created equal. In this video we cover the red dot magnifiers that have stood the test of time for us here at JTAC Ranch. In order from beginning to end you will see the Aimpoint 3x-c, EO Tech G43/G33, and the Vortex Micro 3x.

how is this channel not huge?
This video was not helpful in the slightest
Just get a holosun or primary arms, does just as much for 80% off
With the unity ftc mount are you able to still use the built in irons of the fast micro with the magnifier in the up position?
Can the vortex get to 1.93 out of the box? great video y'all.
it's weird because eotech literally says in the g33 manual that the windage and elevation adjustment has no effect on point of impact haha. and I never experienced an issue.
Lpvo + red dot
Do you find that the unity riser/magnifier mount is that much better than a standard flip to side? I want to try one because I like the concept of ftc but I like a lower 1/3 sight picture. Did it take a while to get used to?
You're mentioning that the eye relief on the G43 is a bit longer than on the G33 but considering that the G33 has a longer length and is extending further to the back of your rifle, isn't it easier to get into the "eye relief range" of the G33?
I don’t get why people keep saying you have to zero magnifiers. Yes you need to center the dot in the magnifier, but that doesn’t change POI. Aimpoint down manual says you just need to center the dot, no rezeroing
When shooting the g43 do you have to change your check weld (shooting position) from red dot to magnifier?
What do you type in or where do you go to find magnifier mounts I have found the unity fast ftc and it's only available in fde (I want black) recently but I was wondering if there is any other mounts like it? From what I can tell unity is the only other magnifier mount from what I have seen???
3xc aimpoint or g45 eotech?
Of the 6x micro vs 6x mag-1 vs g45 wich is best in terms of clarity 1 n eybox/relief 2 ???
My issue is I’m trying to mount a magnifier on my SLR-95 with a Arsenal top rail installed. I have an aimpoint T2 on the lowest mount and want to keep it that way. Wondering if there is a solid mount that will align with the lowest mount?
G45?
You look familiar
TOO MUCH TALKING PAL
The sig magnifiers are solid too
@JTACranch I see Roy had that G33 on a FAST mount behind an XPS2 and not the EXPS. Any issues with the G33 lining up with the XPS ? I know the mounts are setup for the EXPS QD model so I’m hoping I’ll be ok since I have the XPS and G33 and want to use the unity riser and G33 mount. Thanks 💪
Vortex 6x, coming from G43. It has better eyebox and way better eye relief, clear glass. I'm running the ADM UIC MOD2 as well, great gun, most accurate AR I've ever owned, love the huge ass bolt release and 1 handed controls as well.
What is the mount you’re using for the g43? I see on their site the current fast for g33 says it does not work.
Ok cool I didn’t know Ben was on another channel. Just asked him what’s a good magnifier/dot combo Ans this video popped in my feed haha 😂
Ok….I know this is likely going to be an annoying question, but what do you think about the Primary Arms or Bushnell magnifier? I already have my aimpoint set up but I'm looking for cheaper options for other rifles.
Just brought a 3x-c for my airsoft kit, so frustrated with repo eye box that I had to get a RS magy. the unity mount is perfect for airsoft as you can’t get it shot out. But anyway I hope I’ll have a much easier time with it than my wasdn repo :d
I'm interested in 4x and above offerings. Sig Juliet 4x, Eotech G45 5x, Aimpoint 6x, and Vortex Micro6x (recently released). I feel these are more comparable with what a lot of users are doing with their LPVO (either 1x or max magnification). The weight of all these options will definitely get into lightweight LPVO + mount territory too. Personally, I'm considering Eotech G45, Vortex Micro6x, and Sig Juliet4, though Sig isn't ambi from my research and I'm left handed so I'm not entirely sold on that one.
When Ben says they shoot a lot, he is not kidding. Those guys are running and gunning all the time. They definitely do not pamper their equipment. If they torture test something, you can be sure that you are getting good, honest feedback on reliability.
Looking forward to trying one out!
Just won a Micro3x. Can’t wait to get a red dot for it.
