  1. Hey bro, I really learn a lot, watching your videos, very informative. Will you be doing anything on the American Tactical's AR-15? Looking forward to the next video.

  2. There are guys that can buy a Porsche or several of them but most of us will commute in a Volkswagen. Interesting innovations, let’s hope some of the mainstream builders will come out with something comparable as the AR15 platform evolves.

  3. THere is one thing I would like to talk about that I am not sure other people have thought of. Regarding designs like this one that allows the rifle to be more accurate NATURALLY, would the practice of these designs help in legal battle for say a self defense shooting? What I mean is that when being tried during a self defense shooting, lawyers will most likely question you about the appearance of your weapon, the mods done to your weapon, etc in order to give the impression that you were eager or premeditated for such shooting events to occur. Thus shifting fault to you, the victim. But to help prevent this, could we argue that such mods help you shoot more accurate therefore putting more of the responsibility on you by taking out the "slack" per say in mechanical fault or failure? For example, say you are speeding along a road 5mph over the speed limit and you happen to drive through a speeding camera zone in which the camera captures your infraction. You decide to go to court to fight the ticket and as you are asked what your defense is, you state that "due to the inaccuracy of natural mechanical failure, my speedometer was off by 5mph, therefore leading me to speed". The court agrees by grace and wipes your ticket, hopefully at least. IF we install mods that intentionally make our firearms more accurate, controllable, and safe, which inherently places more responsibility on the shooter, don't you think that would be a wanted practice? Doesn't it make logical sense to make absolutely sure that malfunctions, defects, and hinderances are taken out of the equation?

  4. The method of attaching the barrel is awesome. Although I think a "tactical" rifle needs a chf barrel, and cut barrels are better for competition and hunting. Otherwise it's a cool gun. What's it's purpose?

  5. With firearms, buy now, not only because they just go up in price, but because when a ban happens, you’ll regret you didn’t buy when they were available, and like other countries were they were banned, they will go up 4 times its value. For me being from one of those countries, u.s. prices on firearms are very low.

  6. I mean…I just built my own with the exact parts I wanted that fit my needs and the role I had in mind for it. Wound up being about $1100-1300.
Add on the optics, sling, and mags? About $1900-2100. Mix of mid-tier and higher end parts, built around a 12.5" Criterion SBR barrel. Accurate AF. I absolutely adore it.

But I appreciate all the little things these guys are doing. That barrel nut assembly is a really neat idea. A lot of stuff I'd do myself if I had the tools, cash, and people necessary to make them.

  7. The only bad thing about an adjustable gas block on a GTW rifle, is that it has the possibility to be on the wrong setting, when you need it most. So there's a much more likely hood of user error, vs something that is permanent. So you just really have to know what you're doing. Kinda like running a 1911/ 2011 as your duty pistol; You better know how to work that safety without thinking about it…… So that's also why the "adjustable gas blocks' that have many many settings— (like i've seen on FAL's, that had 50 different notches to adjust it to)—- those are even more likely for someone to adjust wrong, and mess up your reliability. It's just a data point to think about. The more things there are that can go wrong, the more things will go wrong— Murphy's law and such.

  8. God I wish this video was released one day earlier. I just ordered all the parts for an upper to support a new suppressor 😭 such a good price too.

  9. Cool looking gun but for $2400 🤔 it’s a lot of money. The only jump out thing is a cool barrel lockup. I think it’s a no-brainer to go with the Geissele for $400 to $500 less. The super duty is a rifle that fucks, it’s proven it’s skills for years from a very very proven Geissele. The super duty many shades of fde is pretty cool too. Blackout is still an unknown company.

  10. I had not heard of this place and not too far from my house. I might have got one 2 years ago if I'd have know. Got a wilson combat one instead. I do like the wilson though.

  11. As for gas blocks I would really say that the click style adjustable blocks I have not had a fondness for but the tunable blocks have been a huge success. Currently all of mine have been changed to the odin works tunable block and since their initial tune after install I have not had them change and have had zero issue with the oldest one having around 1700 rounds through it and the newest is around 900. Wish I could say the round counts were higher but alas ammo is pricey and time is short.

  12. I want these guys to build a barrel with SOT. I want one of them with there AGP (Angled Gas Port) with that double locking barrel nut and handguard. I'm hoping that it becomes the new standard eventually.

Oooo also that trigger. I'm buying one right now.

  13. The adjustable gas block is a point of failure that some of the companies who build a "go to war rifle" don't want to take the chance of something getting messed up.
Honestly I think they are worried about nothing. The chances on a high quality adjustable gas block breaking down are very low

  14. Having a rifle built with a blackout defense upper and lower there is a great advantage in the quality of the fit. I would love to by a second upper with the dual taper barrel nut, but the current barrel lengths offered don't fit what I want out of the platform. If they put out a 16 or 20 inch in this lockup design I might just have to throw my wallet at the screen to get it. Amazing company that puts out a great work of art and still tries to do more without killing the wallet as bad as they could. Can't wait to see what they pull off next
