I got the Infrared version of this.
There is a video on the model before this (just called the super tac) of a guy complaining it broke when he weapon mounted it. He said the head was just press fit to the body with no glue/welding/or threading. I don't know if they fixed that problem on this newer model.
It's a sweet light otherwise from what I could see when I played with one at BrightGuy. The reflector size to led size is ginormous— never seen anything like it. So it throws a pinpoint beam super far.
@martinaee 200 on high. 10 lumens on low. And doesn't not take 18750's
What are the lumen level modes and does it accept 18650's — it doesn't right? I haven't seen surefires or streamlights that do.
I got the streamlight trl-1s HP, it has more lux at 100m than my thrunite v3.
