Here we celebrate Independence Day (July 4th) by revisiting the endeavor of chewing up a block wall, except this time with my vintage AR-15 A2 using 64 grain 5.56 X 45 tracers.
We also fire a few .45 ACP and 7.62X51 tracers before the festivities end!
The AR-15 is my old Colt A2 that I bought new in ’84. It’s a transitional A2 1X7 twist.. See previous videos on it.
Ammo is American Eagle 64-grain tracers. (XM856)
I was trying to spread the shots around on the wall, not shoot a group.

One of the original demonstrations of m16 was blowing hole in cindet block wall with a couple mags of ammo. The 62 gr works better

After 200 yards the 22 caliber has lost so much velocity that this is what you get. More proof if you're in a war and shooting long-range you want a larger 30 caliber bullet.

This video should be required viewing for anyonewho thinks a concrete block wall is any cover against rifles.
Tracers are just plain bad ass! We would have gun shoots at night in the US Navy we would shoot the 50 cal the M60 and the M14 rifles and they would have tracers I think 1 in 3 or 1 in 5 or something like that anyway I would get a grease pencil and wipe on the eye pieces of the binoculars and hand it to the guys next to me and they wouldn't know cuz it was dark outside, but when we got back in the interior of the ship you can see they look like raccoons with little black circles around their eyes, lol gun shoots were pretty cool but my trick was hilarious! 🙏🏻😁🤣
