In this video, James looks at the classic Streamlight vs Surefire debate with a refreshing angle we don’t hear much about.

I like how "soft" the switches are on the TLR. The surefire has "stiffer" switches.
The TLR switches are slightly longer, and I can somewhat reach them with my smaller hands. I can't reach the x300 at all, really. So, I am kind of stuck using my weak hand for activating with either one.
Don’t mean to be a dick just a serious suggestion. Seek some low light training from a reputable company. In no world should you drawing your gun while activating you WML at the same time with your trigger finger. Your going to shoot your self under stress or ND into someone. Activating your light is trained with support hand unless your operating a blasting shield.
3:06 They have. New production TLR-1 HLs have a thousand lumens and 20,000 candela.
What holster is that at 12:35 ?
Tlr1 light throw looks better imo. Surefire looks sexy tho on a pistol compared to Streamlight. But that price difference, I'm choosing TLR1HL Everytime
Great video! I think a lot of it comes down to which one best suits the operator….
Have you considered or seen any use for the Phlster enhanced switches?
