ive had mine for a year and I use the rechargeable batteries. I use it everyday for several min a day and ive only recharged battery once. I love this light.
WTF? How can you do a video the same day you get a light? Waste of time!!👎
Nice review. I have this 2L-X and the HL-X and love them both. I had some high lumen toys and they die quick when used daily as a duty or work light. I used a LED STRION for 9 years before I sold it and bought a high lumen toy. I had three of the high lumen TOYS die in two years! This is when I found out that no other flashlight manufacturer takes care of their customers like Streamlight. They have a real LIFETIME WARRANTY and their headquarters are in PA. So I sold my high lumen junk toys and went right back to Streamlight. I have the:

HL-X
Strion DS HL
Stylus pro
4AA Propolymer
Live and learn. If you do not buy a Streamlight… You better buy two lights as you'll need one as a back up while the other is shipped off for weeks on warranty work. Oh yeah, good luck getting a claim under the other guys 2 or 5 year warranties. Ha ha ha.

got mine about a month ago. its the one i used in my low light shooting video. really like it so far! when the original batteries die i have a bunch og 18650 rechargeables im going to try in it.
