When the Army's new M5 rifle (the M16's replacement) becomes widely available on the civilian market, these massacres will get much worse. It's round has about twice the power of an M16/AR15 round with a similar fire rate. It's round is designed to penetrate body armor. Just a heads up, it's about to get a lot worse because the Republicans will certainly not stop these tragedies from happening. How many of them ever stop to think that maybe the Second Amendment needs to be updated for the advanced weaponry available in the 21st century that our founding fathers had no idea would be invented.

The second and fourth highest victim death count were both done by Australians.
The second highest was done in 2019 long after firearms ban and with AR style rifles, and the shooter was Australian Queensland licensed.

Maybe it's time to start showing the pictures of the children's injuries on TV. The damage to their faces & bodies. The people who have to mop up the blood and brains off the school floors. Stop sugar coating it & let people see what it really looks like. Maybe then, change will be made.

Honestly I think one of the GOP’s strategies is to keep citizens and more specifically MAGA cultists armed with weapons of war so in the event of an armed insurrection or even civil war the death toll will be high.

The odds of you being a victim of a mass shooting is very rare and the vast majority of murders by firearms are by handguns. The problem isn't guns ,it's lack of security the vast majority of mass shootings happens in gun free zones. we gather 800 kids into one building with no metal detectors or armed guard knowing evil exists and expect them to be safe. But if we hand a building full of cash or just a court house there is security everywhere. But I bet yall support the Ukrainian civilians having ak47s and ar15s because you see first hand why the second amendment was created to fight against a tyrannical governments foreign or domestic.
