  1. Question, do you have any range updates with the new Clamp parts that Streamlight sent you for the TLR 7 Sub. I just received my new ones from Streamlight for my TLR 7 Sub and I noticed that it is exactly the same except the Material is Now Plastic instead of Aluminium/Metal like the one that came with mine. I'm more then a little worried that they went with Plastic as a Clamp Material instead of Aluminium like as Always come with Streamlights TL Models. Im more then a little worried how this will hold up. And why they went with Plastic. The shape of the newer Clamp is Excatly the same, just material. And the only thing I can think of is that the Plastic will hold and clamp on a little better Plastic too plastic, like maybe the Material will mend better together. I hope streamlight has tested this newer Clamp and the Plastic material, because I'm starting too hesitate using this as my Weapon light. I agree with you this is Sigs Fault and Flaw with the design they chose with there Rail on the Frame of the P365XL and Standard P365. Plus I'm concerned how Loctite will hold up on this Plastic Material under Stress after many rounds tired through the P365XL. I'm going too contact Streamlight tomorrow and ask them why they chose Plastic and how that is going too hold up and too ask them have they tested this newer material and how much did they test it. And is this just a attempt to not damage the Plastic Rail and frame of the Sig more then it is too Stop the Light from coming lose and Wobbling !!!! Thank you for your video and content and thank you for any Input or more info you might have with your updated Clamp. And can you tell me if yours is plastic like the one Streamlight just sent me. And one more thing, I agree with you streamlight should have sent instructions instead of just a packing slip and a bag with the Replacement parts. I'm sure it's not hard like you stated, but Instructions would have been nice. Thank You again.

  2. Thanks for producing the content. I started with your sidecar video, even though I already own a sidecar and love it. However, I was thrown off by the fact that you have a "P365" with the TLR-7 Sub and a sidecar, as that's not a listed option on T-Rex Arms. The final cut in your video gave me my answer, that you indeed do have the P365 XL. Probably worth something to keep in mind, because the P365, P365 X and P365 XL are different guns and have different options. Nitpicky, I know, but worth being accurate.

  3. Great vlog. Last Friday I picked up from my FFL the Spectre Comp, which is about the same size as the XL. The Spectre Comp really fixes the infamous 365 snappiness problem (I know because I have the regular 365). My FFL suggested me to get the TLR-7 over the Surefire XSC. I probably will go that route. As of holster, I am looking at the Tier 1. But I will check into the TRex Arm as well. Thank you.
