I think you were using the trigger pull gauge too quickly. Try to do it more like the Lyman tutorial – https://youtu.be/cVhkaZouBmk?t=71
Beautiful rifle
How did your zero work?
I ask because F marked FSB are for flat tops ( A3's ) and non F marked FSB's are for A2 uppers in 20inch.
I think F marked FSB's are used for A2 carbines, so I was curious as how that worked out for you.
That gun is sexy and perfect for home defense. Now I want to throw away my ars and get back to the roots of shit
What do you think about the Mossberg stock? I've been looking at them for the cost but just worried about the general fit and finish. How does yours stack up with finish, mold and seem lines?
Is it possible to install an a2 buttstock on an M&p 15 sporter?
Is the m16a2 really considered retro
HE did indeed!!!
Jesus Christ I must be old. I can't believe the rifle 'of my time' is now considered "retro" 😂
nice build, i did an A1/A2 retro build, can't beat the 20" barrel for smooth shootin. I have the same Lyman gauge , got it this year…also giving me very generous readings
A2 rifles were supplied with a Black sling just a fyi.
Like the handle on that. Looks nice
We gave our boys a marksmanship class in the fall and used a build similar to yours for teaching them basic marksmanship. Learned the fundamentals of zeroing a rifle on those same sights! They had a lot of fun and learned alot!
I think your new build looks great! Its cool and classy!
As far as raw view numbers go if you were also on UGETube, you would be crushing it.
With that said, good looking build, I bought a Rock River Arms A4 upper last March just before everything went nuts. Hopefully sometime soon I will get all the footage into a cohesive video.
It seams like 20 inch rifles are coming back into vogue. Good looking build.
Awesome job on the rifle looks great and looks like it shoots good too…
