My video on how to remove the ejector and change the ejector spring on an AR-15 style bolt, like in the CMMG Banshee 9mm (upgraded to CMMG Mk10 spring). I noticed in my new Banshee Gen2 that CMMG is using a stiffer spring in the Gen2, so I decided to try a stiffer Mk10 spring in my Gen1 Banshee 300. I explain every step and list everything that I used like the Real Avid AR15 Master Bench Block with an ejector removal tool, Amazon 9 piece roll pin punch set, and Obsidian Arms AR-15 Armor Punch Set from Brownells.

Since last month I just recently got my CMMG 9mm RDB upper with ARC mags it should have the Gen2 BCG with the stiffer spring (although old style upper with forward assist) so I don’t need to worry about this right? Shoots great with ~250 rounds so far.
I have no ejection issues and have already replaced my extractor spring, is there any point in doing this preemptively?
Excellent and informative video! Also, thanks for the shout out! I will be doing this upgrade on all of my Banshees.

Live in N.Y.C. my condition prevents me both physically & financial from jumping the multitude of infringement hurdles 🙂 that is why I required assistance. ~Maranatha~
