CMMG 22lr AR conversion kit. My Most important training tool

Good idea .. similar thought process here but instead of the cmmg kit I went with the SW 1522 one of the times PSA had them on sale with mags and case .. use the same light and optic set up as on my 16" AR .. and can use it for training new shooters or recoil adverse shooters .. .. I do have a couple of question for you .. what bipod is that ?? Scott

I have been saying this for years! At my family’s ranch we have did the same type of training here in San Antonio,Texas. I bought the buffer plug and the charging handle gas trap for it. It’s a awesome investment to be able to train with your rifle. Awesome video sir!

Good stuff man, ive looked I to these but never got one. I was told to be careful because 22lr could cause some issues down the road. Cause excess fouling and leading in the gas tube especially suppressed and I heard not to shoot them through a monolithic suppressor that it could cause excess build up in them that could also be dangerous down the road if you go back to shooting other cartridges through it due to pressures.

A buddy had a conversion kit like that. He didnt like it said it didnt quite run right with his gun for whatever reason. I want to say extraction but that was many bourbons and a few scotches ago….
I ought to see if he still has it sitting around….
