I have both the 5.56 and 7.62×39 16" Gen 2 side chargers from BCA and cant say enough good stuff about both !

Got a question, I’ve got a stripped lower that says it is mil spec, I’m struggling to find information on exactly what Mil-spec is all about, would this specific upper work for a mil spec lower? Do I specifically need to buy mil spec parts, like the lower parts kit and buffer tube?
