  1. Non Chlorine Brake cleaner.. spray the inside of the lower, use an air gun..
The brake cleaner with also "strip" the Oil..
I dont take the lower parts out and Clean the inside.

  2. I've only used Mil Spec.
Yes I have had to do a little Dremel buffer work on a couple but mil spec, cheap, functional, military type, normally its just installed and leave it alone. Seems good enough.. and I have used the M16A2 & M4 seems similar in feel, I don't like light triggers.

  3. They make antiwalk pins. I had a friend whos AR lower pin holes "Waller out" from the use.. never seen that before and I had helped him to get antiwalk pins. Some have a Clip on the outside, some are Pins with a Screw (look a little like a little "barbell" ) so the pins dont go side to side, the "Lock in"

  4. I have a mil spec trigger in my ar. I would like to upgrade it with something reasonably priced that's also reliable. I've heard a lot of triggers can cause light primer strikes. Any suggestions?

  5. Congrats on the subs, smashing through that 1 million barrier. The second million will be quicker as people know you are knowledgable and not just reading a cue card.

  6. I can't afford any of the higher priced triggers, so I bought the Ruger Elite 452 trigger for about $100. The trigger pull ended up being right at 3.5 lbs and as smooth as a babys butt.

  7. Of the four ARs that I've built, two have drop-in triggers – from Fostech. The other two, I assembled; and you're right, once you've done a few, it becomes second nature to assemble and install.

  8. Good morning Mr clint. Thank you to classic firearms and climt. You all have been very informative. I am actually building a 6.5 24" grendal. I got my very inexpensive lower and I was debating on the parts trigger or a drop in from Timmy. This was the video that I needed to understand the pros and cons. God bless you and the team. Hopefully I will have some videos soon so I can have them on my YouTube channel. Take care.

  9. I run rise armament drop in triggers on all my builds 2 reason – 1 super lazy at assembly, 2 love the trigger pulls from the cheap 140’s to the 434’s. I do have a timney pcc for my 10mm pcc build. I haven’t ever had a walkout issue tho with trigger pins. If anything, the adjustable pins on the bottom if not adjusted correctly have given me light primer strikes, but thats only in the cheap 140 triggers

  10. I have both in my rifles. Once you put a trigger kit or 2 together the time difference is the only difference and not much at that. Glad I have a drop in on my tack driver. Steady press…..BLAM every time😎

  11. I'm a Rise Armament guy. I have four of them. I keep spares just in case something breaks, even though I haven't had any problems. You never know, s&%t happens. You never know when a friend might want to try one out.

  12. If you want reliable triggers as in no light primer strikes I would stick with the kit triggers but the convenience of a drop in trigger is awesome. Downfall is that safety gets in the way

  13. With my rifle I'm kind of stuck with kit triggers. Built from an 80% lower and my saftey hole got drilled a touch out of spec. Had to do a little grinding on the trigger when I was building it so that the trigger and saftey would work properly. Has worked great for over 7 years now so I see no reason to replace it
