Great review. I almost exclusively use streamlights for work as a millwright. I do have trouble with the tailswitches on the pocket lights stopping and the high lumen lights seems the solder joints oveheat, but I still continue to buy them because they work so dang well otherwise.
It’s hard to beat a streamlight penlight for edc. Back in the day, Nutnfancy recommended the x2 AAA model, which is a great size (especially for guys… the extra length makes it easier to manipulate, plus our pockets are always deep enough). I’ve tried a lot since then. The only thing I’ve liked more is the copper Maratac aaa on my keychain. I’m trying a Rovyvon penlight right now, so we’ll see if it’s as good as the Streamlight (it’s got usb-c, which is great for edc).
I used to carry this light all of the time. It is so beat. The little Olight, now up to Baton 3, is just more useful. However,in SHTF situations , you can always find AA and AAA batteries. It’s always good to have a few of this type of light.
I’m lazy and just rely on my phones light, they aren’t bad these days but not a real light. One thing is these small flashlights do not last as long as a more traditional surefire 2x CR123 light.

That’s a slick little flashlight! Great review, as always, you’ve really got your testing communication skills down and it’s so smooth!
