This scope is not made for the AR platform. It's pretty clear this individual has no clue what he's talking about and this review is nothing but bad information. Try using what it was intended for and quit giving out garbage info!!!
Good review, thanks. Hey what kind of mounting system are you using there? I've read that it's important not to scimp on things like rails and scope mounts.
I've got this same Redfield 4-12x40mm scope (Accu-Range) on my Remington Sendero SF II 300 Win Mag. It still holds perfect zero after a couple hundred shots. It's very clear, very well built, and best of all made by Leupold and backed with the same full lifetime warranty. It's simply outstanding, especially for a $200 scope.
I think the eye relief is better being further back, especially if you mount this on a magnum. This scope rocks for the price especially with that reticle. I was surprised at how nice and clear the glass is. Better than the nikon for sure. I HATE the big black ring looking through the nikon 223's.
Looking through the redfield it seems like youre looking through a Luepold VX2

a review should tell weight length reticle type etc.
to all the piss ants bitching about him putting it on an ar 15 who gives a crap what he puts it on.
I want low eye relief, said nobody ever.
Loved this scope…but…. it's basically useless under 100 yards.
4 inch eye relief sounds ok to me.
Drop it like you did the Nikon let's see if it holds up
Hi, thanks for the review.
Do you recall what size flip up covers you have for the revolution?

That scope is not made for the AR 15 it is way to big and that scope should be on a blot action.

Nice scope. Made in the Philippines now.
I bought one before rifle season. I got to say I absolutely love this scope!
A long eye relief is a good thing, how could you complain about that?
I just bought the Varmint 6-18 and it is great!
Well yeah, that scope was never meant for a semi-auto short carbine… You'll appreciate eye relief when shooting bigger guns.

Nice glass, I put one on my Tikka T3 Varmint .308 4" group by with first 20 rounds @ 100yds.
