  1. Great video. Was wondering if you might take a look at the UTG Leapers Inc 1-8x28mm 30mm MRC Scope, IE, BG4 Reticle and offer your opinion on whether it's a worth while budget 1-8 LPVO. Looking forward to Friday's video.

  2. I have bought 2 of these Ceylee dots. $80 bucks and you get the exact copy of Romeo 5. Comes from the same factory but not having to pay the big sig overhead that comes in the Romeo 5 $130 price tag

  3. $300 AR kit, $40 AR lower ( pre 2020 communism price.) now $400 AR kit $80 AR lower, $15 flip up iron sights $20 pinty, ammoky, or EZshoot red dot $20 grip, $20-30 tactical light with pressure button, $12-20 sling go have fun. last two RD sights have windage and elevation knobs that don't require a tool.

  4. Good stuff. I have the original Field Sport micro dot and she's still ticking. I did upgrade my HD AR's to the Romeo5 (for the shake awake feature), but my Field Sport and that Pinty are working just fine. I'll have to try the EZ shoot. I have a couple of other LPVO's but there are more builds coming! Thanks 704 Tactical!

  5. Love my UTG Accu-sync flip up sights. Now I'm looking for a good light laser combo for my AR pistol. Any suggestions? I'm looking at the new Crimson Trace 301railmaster pro. Will you do a review on it?

  6. Top Reasons Flip-Up Sights are Useless:
#1 You're not a soldier most likely, so you have an AR for home defense. Only soldiers would need backup sights when out on a long mission/battle. Most people who own an AR also own other guns, so use a backup gun instead of backup sights. I have 5 AR-15s: red dot pistol for car defense, red dot 16" home-defense, 16" iron sights home defense, scoped 16" hunting 7.62×39, and a long-range scoped AR.
#2 A "battle" defending your property/home would most likely be at very close distance (or inside w/a home invasion) and last less than 10 seconds, so if 30 rounds doesn't hit or scare whatever away, backup sights are not going to help you.
#3 A lot of flip-up sights owners never even zero them, plus flipping them up and down (esp if cheap Chinese ones) will most likely reduce their zero/accuracy anyway.
#4 Cluttered guns with useless attachments annoy me bc they become unnecessarily heavy/less mobile.
#5 At 50 yards, looking through the glass alone with a dead-battery red dot can still easily hit a human-size target in the center of the glass viewing field with 30 rounds. I estimate I could hit at least 15/30 shots on a human torso steel target at that distance. (704, I challenge you to make a video about this topic to fact-check me) If you're trying to hit something farther than 50 yards away, I suggest getting farther away with the A.S.P. rule of "get out of the danger zone". Active Self Protection YT channel analyzes all types of real-world videos from around the world to teach ccw holders and self-defenders the best course of action in various scenarios. In thousands of videos, I don't think I've ever seen anyone use BUIS in an actual encounter.
#6 Are you a delusional Gravy SEAL imagining you got surprised by a sudden war and you never change out your red dot battery and you think that on the battlefield, ducking inside your sandbag bunker when your red dot dies you will press the buttons on your trusty Feyachi $11.99 Amazon flip-up sights then take out the N. Korean paratroopers dropping on you like Red Dawn? B, please. 🤣

  7. Great video very informative I just bought the Cyelee Red Dot. My question is how far should I zero it in for home defense. I was thinking 10 yards. But what are your thoughts.

  8. I got'ta hand it to ya' ! You always have come up with some really good stuff for not a lot of cash . I still have that first red dot I saw you do the water bottle test on and it works as good now as it ever did . Can't remember the name but it has " Stream" in it . Thats got to be at least 5 years ago and its on its only on its 2nd battery. ( Was it Field Stream ?)

  9. Awesome video for the budget minded. I just purchased the Primary Arms MD20 micro dot. Such an amazing optic. Kinda like it better than my Trijicon MRO. For iron sights, my favorite ones are the UTG accu-sync. For $60 or so, reeaaal good quality back ups.

  10. Thanks for another great video! Was in the market for iron sights too so I grabbed the warhunt one's to try them out. And what's great about amazon is if you don't like them you can return them no questions asked!

  11. These videos are so helpful you have no idea thanks again 704 you’re the best! In these times almost all of us are on a budget some more than others so this is incredibly helpful for us who want to finish a build on a budget!

  12. For BUIS I still like my UTG low profiles. Little more, depending how hard you look for deals, but all steel gear quality & very low profile. Only downside I've experienced is standard front sight tooled adjustment, and you adjust them so infrequently I don't care about that. 🤷‍♂️
