  1. On your mp is that a free float I have the one with out the sight arch block it’s the low square gas block with the quasi bayonet lug. I’ve been looking fir the ling free float and the top part fits but the bottom does not have that little square cut out thanks

  2. The same California leaders making guns stupid are cutting off water & electric off people have get togethers during this 99% survival rate "pandemic". No wonder everyone's leaving!

  3. I've just completed a AR-10 308 build and I actually prefer the Thordsen grip to a pistol grip. It is similar to a stock on a hunting rifle but less cumbersome. It seems to get your hand right in there for better control. I realize, though, that it won't be for everyone, as old habits are hard to break. But it is kind of a nice option and in California it sure is better than a fin grip. Also, it is nice to have that reach on your sling and not putting that stress on your buffer tube and ultimately on the connection between buffer tube and lower receiver (or more accurately the spot where the buffer tube meets the castle nut). I also prefer the streamlined look, although I realize a lot of people don't. I find handling the rifle with the Thordsen is pretty simple. If you have giant hands though this might be an issue. But trigger position for me improved with the Thordsen.

But, even in other states the Thordsen might make a nice option to a pistol grip if someone were to prefer it like I do. When I move out of Cali, which is going to happen at some point here. I will continue to keep and use my Thordsens. I don't care about being the butt of jokes (pun intended) of those who are stuck on one option. Sometimes technology does improve and having options is always better in my opinion.

I think your suggestions on the ambidextrous safety and extended mag release are good suggestions. Thank you.

  4. The grip is the same as a traditional rifle without a pistol grip. I can reach the mag release with my finger no problem but the safety is an issue. I have this on an A2 style rifle and it goes with the longer barrel. It's a nice middle finger to the anti gun people.

  5. Thing about it is with this you can just change out the grip and stock in the event of war or looser laws. The loophole guns are gonna be fucked up forever or require more money in parts. You're definitely right about weapon usefulness > weapon looks

  6. Not gonna do you guys any good now that Newsom is Governor and there's only one political party in occupied Kalifornistan. In next two or three years most firearms will be ban or very hard to get, You will have to jump thru many anti-gun hoops that financially it will not be feasible to own a gun. You sheeps elected these fools in office. Deal with it! It's only gonna get worse! For it will be DECADES before you be able to fix what is stupid in occupied Kalifornistan. At least I had the common sense to get out of Kalifornistan and moved to a free state named Nevada.

  7. that stock hurts my wrist after a couple mags. i rather use the armag lock. only takes a second or two longer to reload with it when you get used to it. only have to open the upper less then a inch and pulling the pin is easy just need a ring pull
