80% lowers need not apply: In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves speaks with Cody Wilson about the NEW upgrade to the Ghost Gunner 3 that allows GG3 owners to turn “0% receivers” – regular blocks of aluminum – into AR-15 receivers, and possibly pistol frames and other components. Yes: this means that if you own a Ghost Gunner 3, a software update and a new set of fixtures will allow you to start making your own lowers at home. Cody gives you the details personally on today’s TFBTV ep.

  1. Truly an amazing step (or sprint really) in fighting back against this tyrannical government! Now all we need is a way to make M240 and M2 .50 cal receivers😎The possibility of a full auto pocket cut lower with a belt fed upper is definitely a start though👍

  2. I couldn't find anything in the fine print on the website. If I pay the deposit, and the next production run does not happen for some reason, will I get my deposit back? What are the conditions of the deposit?

  3. This may be a bit more in the face of people who want to ban what they call ghost guns. But in reality people have already been making firearms at home in a much more crude manner already.
Also, even serialized Firearms can become Ghost guns. Just ask any robber who's going to commit an armed robbery with a firearm. The first thing he will do before committing the robbery is grind off the serial number so that the gun can't be traced back to him after he pitches it. At that point his gun becomes a ghost gun.

  4. So kind of an unrelated question.
If this can be used to make parts that will survive a slide reciprocating on a semi-auto pistol, could it produce new Pistons to replace broken pistons in Old piston engine aircraft that use engines no longer manufactured (such as the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine used on the Spitfire and the P51 Mustang)?
