In today’s Freezing Rifle Test (best rifle for snow), we allow moisture/snow into the actions of different weapon systems and allow it to freeze. In order to best test how these freezing rifles would behave under a worst case scenario. For many this is a very applicable topic. The results certainly surprised us.

I'm from MN. And 20 degrees ferrinhight is not a cold weather test… 1911s are the only gun i had freeze up at that temp. -4 or so my 10.5 ar freezes up. And my sig 556 runs no matter what also watch your breath around your optics
the AK series is made for arid environments with sub-zero temperatures, and also works in the middle of Vietnam.

It's standard procedure to periodically rack the action in freezing conditions specifically to prevent this from happening.

Moral to the story:
your gun is lightly frosted, use proper procedure and your good.
Your gun is completely submerged in water your screwed with any gun.
