First off, I’m gonna give you a follow like like other gun channels did for me when I was new channel.
Secondly, for me it all comes down to never taking a chance with my life in a gun fight.
My gear has got to be tight and operational at all times. To run 100 rds can be beneficial, but not practical if it won’t run flawlessly 100% of the time. I’d rather drop a 30rd magazine and reload a fresh one, than have to deal with FTL or FTF, etc. Which explains why we drill that constantly with a standard load out of 7 magazines.
I do like that you are thinking critically and trying to separate what’s cool from what will make you come out on top in a gun battle.

I've tried them all and nothing beats a (2 pmag with a coupler). Vietnam vets stayed running jungle ar15 mags.
