  1. For the life of me I don't know why they made this instead of one in 30 carbine.
Or make a wildcat of a 5.7 by necking it up to 6mm or 25 cal… you know, so it's not so dang anemic.

  2. OK, I gotta ask, has anybody wildcatted this thing yet? Neck it down to .172 and you should be somewhere in the neighborhood of the 17 Hornady Hornet for case capacity only with a modern case design.

  3. WOW, a new caliber and CMMG didn't make it completely proprietary. Yes, I like the opening video and agree whole heartedly with the series development tract. Really looking forward to the Ballistic Gel tests, and the Reloading segments. Is 4.6 going to be as easy as 5.56 or as finicky as 5.7? Curious minds want to know.

  4. Are you going to be able to measure recoil forces? If so that would be cool. I've always wondered why recoil wasn't measured in a meaningful way beyond a statement of the shooters feeling. Does a muzzle break really reduce the recoil forces and if so by how much? Are some muzzle breaks better than others? All questions I've wondered.

  5. What a way to neuter an AR. What can you hunt with it? Chipmunks? Maybe!?! Sorry, but I do not agree with this being a good cartridge. It looks like a way to make our AR's useless if the government decides to limit ammo sizes. It doesn't even have the velocity of a .223? 1900fps in a BB sized projectile. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

  6. Gav imma jump in here real quick. I’ve had some issues with CMMG products. I have photos, but I’m not here to bitch. Actually the opposite. Their customer service is outstanding, Bryan over at CMMG is an exceptionally professional individual who hears you out, optimizes solutions and provides the best path forward. If anyone is on the edge, wondering which manufacturer to purchase from. CMMG stands by their work.
