Our Experience
Hello and thanks for visiting our Channel Urban Recon Sniper School, a privately owned and operated professional sniper school led by former Police Sniper, Police Chief, Detective, and Highway Drug Interdiction Officer. Jay Smith participated in numerous high-risk raids in his police career and was assigned to the Highway Drug Interdiction, S.W.A.T., Detective Bureau, and Sniper Operations after graduating Sniper & Escape and Evasion School.
Caught armed robber first night on job as a rookie cop
Jay located a home with numerous fully automatic WW2 belt fed machine guns, grenades, grenade launchers uncovering an international arms smuggling ring involving aircraft and semi-trucks.
Jay was awarded for apprehending the largest meth supplier in the state of Missouri and forwarding the case to the DEA for successful prosecution.
Michael was awarded a Chiefs Commendation for disarming man who threatened him with a knife without firing a shot.
Arrested man wanted for attempted murder in Arkansas in 2011 and on the run with many guns, food, and survival gear in Missouri.

Jay responded to active shooter call in Illinois in, responded to Domestic Extremist Compound Raid assisting FBI, ATF, Coast Guard Intelligence, and Kentucky State Police Swat Team taking down two locations recovering 40 weapons, ammo, and survival gear. This case was aired on CNN, New York Times, and many stations.
During these high-risk law enforcement missions Jay assisted Agencies like Illinois State Police, Kentucky State Police SWAT, F.B.I. Terrorism Task Force, Coast Guard Intelligence, A.T.F., and even Central Intelligence Agency Counter – Terror Division with Terrorism information he developed.
Jay was also recognized for apprehending a suspected Russian Terrorist and forwarding the case to the F.B.I. Terrorism Task Force. This man was the first person to ever be entered wanted as a terrorist in Missouri according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
In 2009 Jay helped the Secret Service protect Presidential Candidates Palin & McCain and other celebrities like Rapper Nellie.
Jay was also responsible for turning over numerous public corruption cases over to the F.B.I. Public Corruption Unit with successful prosecutions of mayors, police chiefs and government officials.
