  1. I literally just bought a microstream from Amazon. It’s probably been in my cart for over a year. Not fancy but it’s pocketable and bright enough for regular use. I always find that I need a light within reach rather than hunting around for my bigger, fancier lights. So far it seems like it’s everything I had hoped for.

  2. I prefer the i5T (or most of the time the Olight Warrior mini) for edc. I was given a microstream for Christmas and the tailcap is junk by comparison. Mine is extremely difficult to fully click down and as I was watching this video, I got it back out and the tailcap started clicking but the light wouldn’t stay on. Eventually it started acting normal again, and maybe I got a lemon. I have a lot of Olights though and only one issue that they quickly replaced at no cost to me. Just adding my experiences to the mix.

  3. I’ve used this one daily for about 2 years now and it’s been flawless. I’ve dropped it from 8’ ladders several times and dropped it in puddles twice and still works perfect. Honestly it just can’t be beat for the money. Great size as well.

  4. A great little EDC flashlight. Until I lost it. Replaced it with a RovyVon Aurora A29 Brass. It's better in many ways but the form factor of the Microstream is more convenient. 250 lumens is plenty bright for most folks. And at $29 bucks, it's definitely a good purchase; doesn't sting much when it gets lost.
