3 min and 10 sec of wasted time.
Me and my dog just pee on it.
Now I just need a tactical minivan
Or stand it in the crook of the driver's side door
Looking at guys driving mini vans with no kids in the back with extreme suspicious eyes now ππ€£π€£π€£
My friend, that is NOT cooling by convection; it is cooling by radiation. If a breeze saunters by then you can add cooling by convection to the list, but sans coolant flow you are left with only cooling by radiation.
Since I don't drive a my grand caravan anymore I hang them by the sling on the rack under the trunk lid. Whatever works I say. It just takes so long I wish there was a way to make a case or bag that could disperse the heat without cooling too quick or burning it itself. Appreciate the videos sir. ππΊπΈππͺ
I usually do my rifle training first and let them cool while i work with pistol. Might give this a try though
Proper handguard is always a great solution.
I have Atlas S-One by Aero, a great handguard to hold, but it heats up like crazy. Quad Rail handguards provide the heat resistance that most handguards don't provide. Almost every handguard manufacturer shoots for lightness, and forgets we are not made of rock.
BCM's rails are so thin as well. They are nice, but thin.
Quantum handguard from Aero I used recently for a build is so much thicker in comparison.
More surface – more time to heat.
More surface – more time to cool.
I just dip mine in the creek π
Always think outside the box ππΌπ€ ππΌ
Ok ok π
