Florida man fires AR-15 warning shot at US Census worker, deputies say.
A U.S. Census working trying to help residents fill out the 2020 Census was threatened by a Flagler County man Monday who threatened him with an AR-15 rifle, shooting as the man retreated, according to authorities and witnesses.

Flagler County deputies were called to the home on Clove Avenue in Bunnell around 6:15 p.m. after the federal employee reported Michael Cooper, 32, shot at him.

  1. Note how these Nazis side ONLY with the government agent, believing ONLY the government agent immediately dismissing the citizen’s side of the story.
It’s these kinds of cops that gassed Jews in the Holocaust.
    They thrive on fear!

  2. The gov worker can legaly go as far as the mailbox the same as the mail man. In some states if a gate is open it is viewed as an invitation. keep it shut and locked. I held and unmarked explorer at gun point at my home until the sheriff arrived to find out it was a code enforcement officer. He got written up for driving down my 1/8 mile driveway. They can only view what they can see from the street. I did not get in any trouble and I did not fire any shots, This guy should have ejected the round and went back in the house. From then one the deputies if they ever needed on my 40 acres they called me first. My number is one the sign on the gate. Keep your gates closed and locked. I love Texas.

  3. Silly citizen, thinking he has rights over his own property. Don’t you know that the government OWNS YOU! All that Constitutional rights stuff is a thing of the past.

  4. When you “think” you know the law and your paranoid. He reminds of the the people shown on the “first 48” They rattle off with out a lawyer. Come on! these days your guilty. Until it’s determined you are innocent .

  5. 6:14 Cop: "You life wasn't in danger and justify grabbing a firearm…." The homeowner had no way of knowing that. Cops grab their firearm (an more) all the time while claiming it was a lethal threat from people who look at them wrong.

  6. Doesn't matter if he is allowed to initially come on the property, once he was told to leave, that's trespassing. The census worker is a pos for not leaving when he was told. If he would've been shot, it would have been his own fault.

  7. The police are not your Lawyers, they are not your friends, they are there to gather evidence so they can arrest and charge you with a crime. If the man would had remained silent and not tried to tell his side of the story, especially the part stating he discharged his Firearm, he may have just got a Mandatory to appear ticket and not be taken to jail.

  8. What is this guy think he's a police officer, and can point a weapon at someone for no good reason. If you're a police officer you can consider a kitten as a deadly threat and shoot it, but if you're a homeowner you cannot consider somebody who trespasses on your property a threat, unless they have already attempted to kill you.

  9. I wish not to talk to you at this time but I might talk to you at a later time , may I speak to my Attorney now please ? and stop talking , Not one more word no matter what they say or do stay silent after you have said that . Just some free legal advice from a New York Attorney

  10. How does he know his life isn’t endangered. If the guy said he works for government how is he suppose to know especially what the of government employee comes with serval people in a truck and does not say I work for census and show I’d of course this guy lies from census

  11. That’s why I don’t have a mailbox!!!!! Postal workers can’t enter property. In fact they can’t even deliver certified mail. In order to serve me a person must pay 750$ to a constable to serve me. I learned of this when I hit a horse and the owner didn’t have a mailbox. The post office says they are not allowed on my property! 20 years and no problems. No trespassing signs up. I’m waiting for someone to come on my property. Especially census or vaxxers

  12. Postal workers can only go to the mailbox he specifically said his mailboxes is at his gate so that piece of crap government worker went past the mailbox where postal workers are not allowed. Hence he was not allowed so he was trespassing
