I'm confused on the leveling portion he talked about. Anyone understand that part?
Thank you Ryan
As a newbie, the instruction is clear and concise. The mark of a good instructor. Thanks.
This video is top notch, thanks!
Brilliant video…thanks Ryan
safety is number one priority!
Does this guy shoot a short action snub nose? The fuck?
With a FFP scope should I be adjusting the diopter with it at full power or the lowest? Since the reticle changes it’s hard for it to adjust at low power compared to full.
Dude you just saved my life. Been doing this all wrong for well of 30 years. Thanks, and now I have about 5 guns I need to go remount my scopes on. I don't know if I should kiss you or hate you. My neck will probably love you
I wear glasses all the time and have trouble seeing through a scope. That scope shadow really block my vision , I have to get really close to the scope to minimize the shadow. Do you have any suggestions ?
I'm sure you can do it too. Just look for Woodglut plans.
Your videos are excellent, Ryan.
Anybody know what scope that is?
Best setup video I've seen. Thank you Ryan Cleckner!
Good morning sir…thank you for sharing your obviously extensive knowledge in both this video and others. Here in N.J., shotguns are the most commonly hunted with weapons, so I've gotten a little rusty with rifle ballistics and scope mounting. I appreciate the refresher course on both. Take Care, Mark.
This video is awesome !!! Thank you sir.
Anyone who'd thumbs down this gracious sharing of experience and wisdom is going through life in a clueless manner,… Thanks Ryan and NSSF; great information for anyone smart enough to know it when they see it.
What kind of stock pack is that
I have setup an RPR Gen2 308 and a Rp 22lr rimfire this way.
I used quality rings and a machinists rule under the scope to the base rail just like in the video. And installed cant bubbles on both. I am running Riton 6-24×50Ri Scopes on both rifles.
I did everything just like the video and had both rifles zeroed in 3 shots!!
So anyone that thinks this information is wrong is wrong 🧐
Nice video 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the excellent video. All of your videos are extremely helpful. I really appreciate it.
I volunteer at my local gun club before deer season. Some guy actually came in with a sight mounted backwards. He was wondering why he couldn't see anything…
This video is actually pretty good!

Perfect.
Excellent videos!
I just started watching your videos and came across this gem. I would have never know this was you from 2011!! Ha! Great info on the video and still relevant!
I use a simple auto feeler gauge, the kind a machinist may have. We used to use them to set points, before electronic ignition. You can usually find one at an auto parts store. Use it to slide between the top of the rail and the bottom of the flat part of the scope. You will be able to to find the exact fit and the reticle alignment will be perfect.
Very informative. Thanks!
Whats is the name of that riffle?
Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh.
Very nice explanation with real advices, i'm bookmarking. Thanks
And if you close your eyes and open your ears, you will hear Nicholas cage’s brother.
Excellent advice but I would even lap the scope rings to give better scope to ring grip.
