Props to your Dad and Mom too! I hope you inspire more parents to introduce and teach their youngins to respect and safely utilize firearms. I taught my kids at a young age as well and aside from all the useful skills/knowledge they learned, I was spared a considerable amount of worry when they were over their friends' houses and away from home. Of course, all kids are unique and mature at different rates; new parents, please take this into account before you introduce them to live rounds. However, you can still teach them how to react to, respect and treat firearms long before they ever handle them; it could save their life, should they find themselves in an unsafe situation involving firearms (lots of prospective Darwin award winners out there). I have never shot a gun or Ar-15 but own a 9mm and Ar-15. Im about ready to hit the range. I have gone through basic training first part of concealed carry. I would love to have her teach me to shoot. She seems to know what she's doing. Awesome Autumn!!!
