This is a review of what I consider the best AR-15 under 1,000. Can you still see quality and features without the high tag.

The sig would be better if it shipped with the rail you have on it, having to replace that right out the gate is a no go for me. Leaning towards Zion-15 being best under $1k. Would be saint victor but seen too many lemons to trust/recommend them.
Review the cheytac ar-15
For that price you are close to a Colt 6920 or BCM (With a PSA mil spec lower). I donโt think a new ar shooter really needs a free float hand guard. It would be nice to know if the Sig used 4150 steel for the barrel and 158 carpenters steel for the bolt as well but do not see that listed on their website.
Good choice. The M&P is nice for the price also.
nice
Um, Anderson arms with rf 85 ? Best $550 I've spent. Super accurate and never jams.
Best under $500.
Stop buying overpriced guns all you are doing is causing inflation.
Paid commercial I guess? WTF Only one AR makes this list?
The first rifle I bought was a ptr91 .308 the second was a aero M16A4 clone.. then I bought a benelli M2 12g.. and then I got another AR lol
Was this a Sig new gun show and tell lol?? Nice tool though brother
Ruger AR 556 no failures nothing went lose broken nothing got it in 17 for 499.99 now its bout the grand but still worth every penny
Midlength is definitely the way to go. I actually love rifle length. But that being said Smith and Wesson sport 2, Ruger 556, Sig Tread 400, Zion 15, Diamondback 15, Aero AC15, Springfield Saint….are all good under $1,000 AR15 rifles. But I will say that the Sig Tread and Springfield Saint both need a new handgaurd/heat shield. I have heard it on multiple occasions from people that own them. Side note all Handgaurds in this price range need upgraded if you are going to get into a serious fight; or are doing some serious shooting.
Why not put a Sig Romeo 5 on that Sig Tread. That USO seems sacrilegious
I recently bought a S&W M&P Sport II AR-15. Back in January, I bought a Sig Sauer 716i Tread AR-10.
I just picked up a M400 2 weeks ago. Spartan Arms had it on the wall and I couldn't pass it up.
So far couldn't be happier with it.
Psa premium complete kit without lower. That's a regular sl stock, the "k" is smaller
What do u think of the s&w 15?
I thought you were going to rename the channel?
Buy a Colt
Diamondback15 Diamond series is right at 1000 on gun dot deals (MSRP 1500 on DB website), Diamondback15 Black Gold is around 800 (965 MSRP on DB website). They have great features, furniture, and reliability for the price. Diamond series comes with a CMC 3.5 lb Single Stage Drop-In trigger and a bunch of other stuff.
I like my Springfield Saint.
But I love my custom build.
Just build it, because you'll eventually change half the stuff on it anyways.
I gotta diamondback for 800ish. I believe that the barrel is cheap, but that shouldn't be too hard to correct.
Dang it used to be the best under $700.00
Nothing against your choice, but why if You can build a premium AR from palmetto state armory with the FN barrel and still have enough left over for 1,000 rounds of .223.
Windham Weaponry and Aero Precision
No thank u, Iโd take a SW MP15 Sport 2 at $750 over this. Much better deal AND looks just like a mid-length M16!
What is the manufacturer's name brand. Lot of talk but
Aero fucking precision is the best sub 1k AR. What the hell is wrong with you people.
Springfield Armory Saint Victor??
Amen brotha this was my first ar because it has everything I wanted and cheaper than if I built it
S&W m&p sport 2
Sig m400 tread
๐๐nice
If your in Maryland, Hanover Armory. I got my HA-15 for $965 with tax. They make them, have a ton in stock for a wide price range and were very great guys. Took it to the range today, only put 80 rounds through it but with the $16 Amazon red dot and American eagle.223 55 grain, I was able to shoot 4 inch groups at 50 yards and it as my first time shooting an AR, first time shooting a rifle. Had no issues what so ever, ran like a top. Super, super happy with it. I am pretty sure I could have done better with a proper sight and if I knew how to sight it in
If I had to buy a "complete" AR for sub 1k I'd go with a Zion-15.
Stag arms stag 15 tactical
Radical was who I went with.
