How to install your Resurgent Arms endplate, or nearly any aftermarket endplate.
This will require an armorer’s wrench, here’s the one I use, sold for $18 at Primary Arms:
Short, effective video on how to stake your castle nut. This is best if you don’t anticipating undoing this install:

Which is longer, the safety spring or the end plate spring? I think I got them mixed up

How does the buffer tube align? The final step you canted it then tightened it down? What if your stock is not on perfectly straight?
Is it as simple as that if the castle nut is staked?
The cheap Amazon armors wrenches sucks ass man! Just bent mine trying to take my fx9 brace off. Used a punch to hit the notch and it came off. Glad they didn't stake it. Anyways good video just dunno about the grip dude. Lol
This was an awesome video. I put my AR together a couple years ago, but needed a refresher on how to replace the endplate. You got straight to the point, and were still able to properly convey all the info needed.
Incredibly informative thank u sir
Thank you, Will.
When do you put the buffer spring back in?
Very detailed directions. Thank you.
What's the purpose of a non functional end plate. Just for color accent, if so, I agree, looks good. But I'm installing one for a one point sling Q.D.
Well done very helpful. Thank you! Thumbs up!
Not sure why but when I replaced the factory mil spec receiver plate and installed a new one for a single point sling mount I started to have problems racking charging handle while function checking the rifle. I did everything properly and in order but the bolt would move back ever so slightly before hitting something preventing me from racking the rifle. I assumed it was maybe the re-installation of the buffer retaining pin hitting the back of the bolt but when I switched back to the original end plate I had no problems what so ever. Can someone help me with what this may have been? Still running the factory plate and I’d just like to be able to use my sling and rifle.
My spring once is out it doesn’t go in for some reason,is that normal? I even order a mew one and it stick out too much,I end up cutting it
This video was extremely helpful to me in answering my questions in regards to changing out my end plate.
I appreciate the detail in explaining each step and the things to watch out for in doing so. Springs etc. I have my qd endplate ordered and will be doing the job soon. Thank you!
Will the Buffer Tube be loose since are not twisting it tightly?
Great Demo!
Why do some end plates have the round divet and some have an oval divet?
I bought a sbpdw brace for my ar pistol but the buffer tube doesn't have a reciever end plate notch cut thru the threads ? why the othe sba3 does
what in the name of communism is that where your pistol grip is supposed to be?
great vid, straight to the point and helpful.
Easier step that I found out is to just tape the spring and detent hole and just keep them in there
Awesome video, I just built my first AR. After messing around with the buffer tube the spring shot out to the moon. I ordered a replacement kit with a few springs and detents just in case.
What type of end plate is this
Do we need to screw the buffer tube very tightly ( not the receiver extension nut ) ?
I put one of your grips on my minimalist AR's with a skeleton stock and it works well. Do you know of any stocks with an adjustable cheek weld that necks down enough to allow getting your hand between it and your stock? I'd like to try putting your grip on my SPR but it won't work with my Magpul PRS G3.
So are these grips actually California compliant? Is there like a certificate of approval or something from the ATF?
Just wondering what is the point in changing the end plate?
Guys , I love the video….careful though …
