Join Daniel Norton OnSet as he goes beyond the typical use of V-Flats to bounce light. By using the V-flats to shape the light like a gobo, we can get two very different looks from the same basic lighting tools and location.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!
Hi Daniel, I watch and enjoy all your videos but I must say, I do not like your shots with hard shadows on the background, sorry, you normally create much better images.
Erica rocks!
Thank you so much for always breaking it down and keeping it simple and accessible, it is very much appreciated. The shots are stunning and Erica is such a sweetie.
That V-Flat look is cool 🙂
Can you please tell me what that "connector" between C-Stand and Flash is called? The metal crank so to say. I would love to buy something like that for my studio. Thank you, Daniel 🙂
Thanks Daniel and Erica!
I'm loving the hard light images. It's not what you see regularly and it's strong and powerful.
Strip light? How about call it the waiting for the bathroom shot.
Very useful information. Your puppet needs a puppet camera. Thanks Daniel and Erica! 😀👍🇨🇦
Great video Daniel Norton, thanks for showing what can be done with limited equipment!
Okay..so this is the coolest part…when Daniel stands back and get a "critique" of his work by the subject. THE most humblest part of any photographers work. It really does help to keep us all in check, IF we truly care about our results. It's having the subject critique our work that give us a chance to step away from our preconceived notions and sometimes arrogance, to then honestly see what others see when viewing the images we so cherish at the time. Tough 'meat" to swallow sometimes, but necessary for us to grow and continue to. Thanks for sharing the WHOLE video and not just excerpts. We get to also hear her comments about the images as well. 100% valid!!
Now THIS is really good work, Daniel. Very simple, yet varied. Thanks so much.
The image at 4:23 right before the cut is the stunner of this set. Great look.
Erica 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Why is blue the background? When I use the shootrought umbrella too
Thanks Daniel and Erica. A good demonstration.
Quality as always. Thanks Daniel and Erica!

I first thought they upgrade the product..
I too look forward to your videos. You always have a way of making things that appear complex simple to do. I hope I said that right. I love the different looks with just the same equipment. Thanks!
2:22 Erica relaxed 2:23 Daniel turns on a light, Erica instantly goes to work!! What a professional 🙂
I have been watching Daniel for years. My opinion is that this his best shoot I have ever seen. This actually looks quite above average. As for the awesomely beautiful Erica or the Greek Goddess as I like to call her, there is nothing I can say that will do a justice to her beauty and talent. Great job. Thanks.
