Holy jesus mary and joseph!!!! I'm writing this @ 6:00am. Do you know why i'm writing this at 6:00 am? because i have been trying for 4 hours to put this damn pistol together!!! I though i was an idiot. Just before this i thought i had to pop the rear off the brace and slide the tube through it forward and reinstall the damn thing.
In the meantime it cost me my buffer control spring.
Ahhhhhhhh, the enjoyment of that first build ever!!! 😉

I suspected that was the way, but I didn't want to break it trying. I searched through a dozen vids until I found yours. It was just what I needed! Thank you!

Edit: Even knowing that was how it worked, I could not get the adjustment pin inside the brace to retract enough to install the device. I ended up drifting the bottom roll pin out. That relaxed the spring pressure on the pin and the brace slipped right on. The plastic cap and spring were an easy reinstall, and the roll pin went in without any problems.
