  1. The reason that the government is so willing to violate their oath and as such rebel against the American people is because people say that an unlawful rule has the weight of a Law it doesn’t if you want to read a real life law read the Constitution, it doesn’t take long to read the Constitution (remember the amendments amend all seven of the articles not the other way around.

  2. I don’t see how they can make a ruling if your already purchased a braces AR pistol prior to a rule change?? Shouldn’t existing owners be grandfathered in??

My ATF comment submitted on 06/13/21:

As we are all aware this agency is under very heavy scrutiny and control from the executive branch of our federal government, I implore you to stand up against said unwarranted scrutiny and pressure, and seriously reconsider adopting the proposed rule as amended and drafted for forearms with “attached stabilizing braces”.

The lives of innocent people lost have been used as political pawns for far too long, especially when trying to enact even more “common sense” gun control laws than we already have in our Country. The current administration has touted these words quoted above for decades, yet not one single gun control measure currently in effect, or proposed here, would change any significant amount of those lost lives that they stand upon to create even more gun control. The only significant amount of innocent lives effected will be law abiding Americans who chose to own said firearms for law abiding reasons. Period. Hard stop.

The above rationale alone should be reason enough to deny said proposed rule change, but we all know it won’t be. All Americans have been awakened to the fact that one political party will continue to use the quoted words of “common sense gun control” to try and persuade more and more gun “control” measures against law abiding gun-owning Americans. The one issue all Americans can most likely agree upon when discussing firearms is that the proposed rule changes and proposed laws across the country are not about either “common sense” nor are they not about “saving lives”, but merely just about “control”. Control of a certain segment of the American population and control over what their personal view on the issue is based on their personal opinion of firearms in general. A vast majority of people who are in favor of more and more gun control measures and restrictions being passed have never even fired a gun, let alone owned one, and they certainly have never been in a position of needing one to protect themselves or their loved ones. In fact, this same segment of ill informed and ignorant gun control advocates usually speak the loudest and most frequently. Furthermore, most high ranking government officials who also support additional gun control rules and laws all have one thing in common, armed security details for their personal protection. Whether it’s at work and surrounded by armed men and women forces, or assistance from local law enforcement officers outside of work, they surround themselves with armed protection. However, these same elected officials allow for the common law abiding American to fend for their own safety, and that of their family, with less and less resources. This current proposed rule change will only prejudice and harm the law abiding gun-owning American and their family. That is both unconscionable and a blatant violation of our inalienable rights granted to all Americans at birth.

Once again, I implore you to uphold your solemn sworn oath to the United States Constitution, but more importantly, I implore you to not allow any member of our Republic to violate theirs. That is your burden. That is your duty. That is your honor.

  4. "The Constitution of the United States forbids Congress and the states to pass any ex post facto law. The clause also serves, in conjunction with the prohibition of bills of attainder, as a safeguard against the historic practice of passing laws to punish particular individuals because of their political beliefs." 5. They made them legal … now they want to renege and make them illegal …. Sounds like they set up a trap for all of us …. They trying to create a registration for future confiscation

  6. Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same fucking thing… over and over again expecting… shit to change…-Vaas so ATF is not only tyrannical, out of bound, stupid, they are also insane.

  7. Mike,

I came here from a link that I received in a CMMG email. For some reason, the link dropped me about two minutes into the video. I've now gone back and watched everything. First, thanks for the video. Secondly, I'm not sure why the link dropped me that far into the video. I couldn't really find anything in that section that seemed deserving of more emphasis than anything else.

I've done a first read through most of the rule as written on the federal register link that you sent. I'm trying to understand the approach that we should take. A few thoughts come to mind, but I can't tell whether they are relevant. Any advice would be appreciated.

The introductory sections of the text talk about firearms that are made to be "unusual and dangerous" and about the NFA restrictions coming about to prohibit "gangster guns." Is there any point in challenging these ideas? Prohibition has been gone for a long time, and I've never seen any indication that people are buying braces in order to facilitate their bootlegging liquor. Is there any value in pointing out that the people owning firearms with these accessories are just regular folks who might someday need to use them in self-defense but who are not associated with any kind of organized crime?

One part talks about adding points for braces that can be adjusted for length. The ATF seems to believe that adjusting for length really won't help anyone. Is there any point in challenging the idea that proper length adjustment could be valuable in getting better bracing?

One part talks about bipods as something that isn't needed for a firearm used as a handgun. This seems completely ridiculous. People who do precision shooting with handguns often like to use some kind of front bracing as well as rear bracing. A bipod makes this kind of shooting more precise and more enjoyable. Is there any point in telling them that their argument has zero validity?

Taken together, these and other aspects of the rule seem more about harassment of people who enjoy these firearms and not about regulating anything that is "unusual and dangerous." Is there any point in challenging the totality of the rule by questioning the motives of those proposing the rule?

I'd like to write something fairly coherent and intelligent, but maybe there's something to this whole situation that I'm not seeing.

  8. UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Millions of stabilizing braces are in the public arena. They are not firearms and are therefore not, nor can they be required to be serialized. For the owners of the millions already currently in the public domain, Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution clearly dictates to government(s) that: enacting: "… ex post facto Law…" (law after the fact) is forbidden. Since stabilizing braces are not serialized (no proof of manufacture date), all one has to do is to claim/prove that their AR pistol with a stabilizing brace was manufactured/converted prior to the enactment of this unlawful regulation. Any law that requires registration of an item that was lawful at its time of purchase, cannot be criminalized after the fact.

Enacting this reg. is also unconstitutional for a second reason – Article I, Section 1 dictates that: "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in Congress…". This means that bureaucracies (the ATF, DOJ, et al.) have no constitutional power to enact binding law. Any reg. they make is therefore fiat and colorable (false) and they have no lawful authority to enforce it and the people have no duty to obey it (16 Am Jur 2d., Sec. 256).

  9. Perhaps the After The Facts agency should consider going after armed felons instead of creating armed felons from lawful gun owners…….. I am ashamed of our federal government and quite a bit of our state and local anti-American governments. They are pushing We The People into a use it or lose it situation, and many will lose it, but I don't think it will be We The People. We live in the most violent times in American History, and our very own ELECTED government officials want to DISARM We The People…….. They are Communists!

  10. As do all the other unconstitutional “rules” the ATF and Democratic “leaders” want to impose, making pistol braces illegal will do nothing to prevent crimes from occurring. All this does is impose unjust sanctions against gun owners who have never and will never use them in an unlawful manner. Again, this is not about guns, but about control. Straight from the Marxist playbook.

  11. I sent an email. Very respectful, but I have to say that this type of thing is beginning to wear on me. I put my firearm together with a friend of mine who serves as a police officer. I have used the same gun to educate my children and family about the importance and responsibility that comes with firearm ownership. I own this gun first for shooting targets. I own this weapon as a means of protection for my family and loved ones… and I also own this gun to protect my fellow Americans and my country should it come to that.

The people who "want" these pistol grips, should they be banned, are going to find them anyways, or worse, find whatever it is they think they need. Stuff like this just makes people like me, a hard-working, an upstanding American citizen, who has a family, a home, and a stable career "wrong".

I would sit here and give the whole,"come take it" bullshit I see a lot of people say… but that gets us nowhere! We need to take the time to educate those around us about firearms, and the importance they hold within our history, and the importance of the responsibility and education surrounding the ownership of these tools, recreational sporting equipment, sporting equipment, and personal defense. The only thing I can say is just be respectful to our leadership and those who may have opposing views. It is okay to disagree! State your case in a respectful way, much like this video, and be patient with people. People will not come to your way of thinking or even take the time to consider your viewpoint if it doesn't start with a position of respect.

    Take care y'all.

  12. ATF CANNOT CHANGE LAW IT'S UNCONSTITUTIONAL THEY ARE UNELECTED OFFICIALS AND DON'T HAVE THST POWER AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO LET THEM KNOW AND ALSO LET YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN KNOW THIS IS THE TOP OF THE AGENDA FOR THEM GETTING OUR VOTES COME 2022

  13. All these videos are the same… telling folks what the paperwork says, speaking about how it doesn't make any sense, telling us how many pages they've put out… show us the differences on a table… break out the tape measures, break out the scales, give us visuals… show us an actual breakdown… show us a legal build, show us a build that will make us all felons…

  14. Yep….. keep licken’ dem boots. It’s gonna fix everything just like last time right? Every few months just write to the ATF to beg for rights that were granted to you by God himself.
