Hearing a Scot talking about a gun as naturally as a sportsball fan talking about his favorite game of sportsball is new as fuck for me. Don't really see that at all. I feel like I stumbled on a unicorn or something.
I own this gun and the Springfield Saint! If you can find a Springfield for the same price which you can if you look, I highly recommend the Springfield. It comes with all BCM furniture, a nickel born trigger group. A full auto BCG Stamped by Springfield. And the S & W MP Sport2 doesn't even have a full auto bolt. So if you want to get a rare breed trigger you will be out a couple hundred dollars needing to get one of them. Also the Springfield has a mid length gas system which just allows for a bit smoother shooing. The price difference is normally $150, but you can find a good deal on a Saint for $800 on some websites, and I wouldn't think twice about getting it. You can also spend another $100 and get all metal furniture with their victor version. They are both great guns, but S&W pissed me off by giving me a neutered bolt. I don't need anyone playing mommy and daddy with me like Colt tries to do. I am happy CZ bought colt out, maybe we will see that daddy daycare shit vanish.
That was my gateway drug! Got me into the gun world. I went crazy doing upgrades. Finally started building my own. I love the integrated trigger guard though. Didn't like the gas system and hated the twist rate. Key holed anything over 62gr.

its not an h2 buffer weight. It is standard carbine buffer weight. 3oz . H2 is much heavier.
Great to see a Scotsman embracing a great part of American culture. You're a top lad šš¼
After a couple changes I feel very comfortable with it. It's a workhorse that I'd compare to the Glock 19 or Mossberg 500.
They've gone down to around $630-$650 online these days.
I went no rear or front sight. added red dot with 3x magnifier(flip down) around magpul FDE Handgaurd, fore grip, stock and mag….shes a beauty
Is the magpul mil spec? I just bought mp15 sport 2 so want to make sure I get the right one (vs commercial)! Thank you.
Do these come with F marked front sights?
Would love to see a video of aero precision ac15m vs sport 2
the only thing i don't like is theyre not chromed lined otherwise id already have one
I picked one up last weekend as my first AR. Upgrades coming this weekend so Iām excited.
PSA freedom will give this a run for its money and has a 1:7 twist with 4150 steel barrel.
Baught one 4 months ago for $550. Look at them again today and now there $1200

In my opinion, all the entry level ARs are the same more or less. PSA, Smith & Wesson, Ruger… You can't really go wrong with any of them.
How far off is a PSA15 freedom from this in quality?
