Nice review. You can use any 18650 batteries as long as they’re long enough (slightly longer than 65 mm). I’m pretty sure you can use just 1 battery too. Streamlight typically makes very reliable products but I’ve actually had issues with my last 2 weapons lights. They took care of things each time
