  1. Now it only it had the buffer ontop of the upper with the bolt transferring energy through a lever so the buffer is pushed toward the muzzle. It could conceivably damp out recoil.

  2. .45 acp is not (hard to control from a pistol). I have pistols in .45 and 9mm. Some nearly identical. Such as my M&P in 9 and my M&P .45. IMO the 9mm is much more snappy than the 45. As much as I like 9mm the .45 acp is smoother shooting caliber (on average guys). It’s also no more powerful than a 9mm using comparable pistols and ammo type. The higher velocity of the 9mm more than makes up for the smaller slug. It’s a myth that .45 acp is this magic man-stopper caliber. I shoot .45 because it is slightly less recoil than the 9mm. I love .45 acp but you just can’t beat the higher capacity of the 9mm with relatively the same, if not more, energy on impact. I’d take the .45 for only 3 reasons
    1) smooth firing
    2) sub-sonic so perfect for suppressors.
    3) .45 acp hollow points have low penetration in my texting with it.

  3. I built this with the 3" upper. I am having intermittent trigger reset failure. I checked assembly of the lower. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? My thought is to upgrade the trigger assembly? Thank You.

  4. AR-45 is a 45 caliber 300AAC subsonic with double the ammo in the same space at half the cost. If you want the additional versatility of supersonic plus loads, ARx39 is the cost of 45ACP and keeps going when 300AAC runs out of room in the case for powder. 300AAC is now obsolete. Let's argue.
