We launch some simple glass marble 12ga. rounds. We also loaded up a couple multi-marble rounds just to show what happens. The average velocity was around 1600 fps.

The card isn't really sticking to the marble. Air flow around the marble creates a suction effect because it's spherical. The same reason you can levitate round objects with an air gun.

Jeff I know that this is years late but heavily "saran wrap"ped clay would be a gosh dang good medii for ballistic measurements and/ or don't take the factory film off of the "Clear Ballistics" ballistic gel.
What's that tool you use to seal your shotshells?
I wish you'd use the camera from behind the clay more often
