The officer had every right to do what he did, what happened went down in literally a split second the officer did not have time to make sure the kid had dropped the gun. The officer seen the same hand that previously was holding the gun coming up so he reacted to save his own life

I would HATE to be a cop right now. You are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. What you think is an adult is running with a gun, running from you, you are supposed to wait for him to turn around and then take a few seconds to inspect if he has a gun in his hand or not. It takes .5 seconds to get shot in the face. I don’t blame the officer at all.

So what if he threw the gun. He had it, he failed to comply. I have no problem with this officer doing what he did.

The guy gave the gun to the kid, the kid ran but throws the gun over the fence then the officer yelled" showed me your hand!" the kid turns around with his hands up that's when the officer shoots, this is what happens when you don't have two parents in the household. They saw him on camera down the street with a gun shooting at something he had a gun in his hand the police officer did not know he tossed it behind the fence he raised his hand what if he had raised that gun and shot that policeman this kid got what he deserved and if anybody should be held responsible it should be the parents
