Aren’t you concerned about how loud the 7.5 at pistols are especially in house setting. I have heard they are unbelievably loud.
Do you recommend a CZ Scorpion loaded with hollow point 9mm or a 10.5 inch AR-15 pistol with 5.56 for home defense? Also will the AR pistol be too load and blow my ears out?

Beautiful gun and great video. I have the same Saint Victor in 300 Blackout. She's a beast! I did some research on those FBI statistics with our guns and the stats say that when we shoot bad guys who enter our home without permission, things don't end well for them. 🙂

I may have to re consider my old shot gun for newer AR pistol for home defense.. but it will be hard to retire the old girl . Its like getting a puppy when your old bird dog needs to be retired
Love your Saint but my shotgun is my home destroyer. The multitude of 12 gauge loads available is endless. And my Mossberg using Aguilla mini 00 buck loads I have 10 in mag and 10 more on side saddle. I have a AR pistol but my shotgun is my choice for me. Check out Paul Harrel he did a test on this subject

Yep, I use a Colt LE6945CQB 10.3” monolithic that is my edc “truck gun” and home defense weapon. It never goes in my safe as it sits next to me wherever I go. Sits next to me while I sleep. As a multiple deployed combat vet…can’t give a bigger compliment to a weapon than that.
Hard to argue to effectiveness of an AR-15 for home defense. Could further debate caliber…i.e. 5.56 vs. .300BO or course, but the platform is so adaptable to almost any situation, no doubt.
Heck yeah man! my 10.5" pulls home defense duty here! I don't have a light on it yet but that's about all it needs

Great video Todd! I think AR15 pistols or AR15 SBR's tick a lot of boxes for home defense but, the noise level from popping off a 5.56 in a short barrel indoors is really something. For that reason I choose a braced Glock are a 4" AR9. Now I always have a suppressed 300 Black or 7.62×39 handy but, even with 7" barrels they are pretty big with my Omega 300 cans. That being said the AR's are always available should I since that I need them👍🇺🇸

Shit! I’d have one, but I can’t. My PDW is my M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine. Silly law abiding me, I registered it back in the day. My standard length M4s can also play that role.
Shotgun is still a number one choice
