So bought another product from Arisaka, it’s the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1&2 adapter, it’s probably the best thing you can buy, if you have a Streamlight. So go get one while they’re in stock.

All the parts you buy just to use surefire pressure pad can just buy surefire light instead.
Just ordered the same setup for my HLX. Arisaka adapter, DS00 tailcap, Modbutton lite. Still wanted the option for constant on and the Unity Hot Button seemed to stick up a lil too much for me mounted at 12 o'clock. Thanks for the vid
Do you gain or lose any water-resistance by switching to the Surefire style of tail cap? This rifle is going to be used rain or shine in Florida heat and humidity where it typically rains like once a day (basically what I’m trying to say is this thing WILL be getting wet) would it make more sense to stick with the streamlight factory pressure pad and tail cap or use this adapter. I guess that also begs the question: will this adapter compromise the water tight integrity of the light as well? I’d like to use my rail mount 2 with this adapter and a unity tactical hot button switch so I can reduce the amount of rail space I’m using on the 12 o’clock rail but I don’t want to compromise water resistance.
so if I have a Stream LIght HL-X I can upgrade the tape switch by getting a Surefire one (UE07 switch), paired with the Arisaka end cap. That's it right?

Great content, just watched a number of your videos, would love to see an in depth review between SF, Streamlight, and Arisaka at night at different distances, I think this would really help show the advantage of the Streamlight and Arisaka over the SF based on increased candela.
