Streamlight TLR9 1000 Long Lumens For Your Range Hammer

Streamlight has been a name many have trusted for a very long time. In the modern era of the lumen battle they have released this long bad boy the tlr9. Now this one take a long 18650 rechargeable battery. The battery is removable still which is really nice because generally the batteries will go bad long before the light. You can also use the non rechargeable batteries if you wish. This take ques from the TLR7A with the mounting switches on the back being the high low options, I prefer the high. With a much sleeker profile than the tlr1hl, also 1k lumens now, this is a cleaner overall light that gains length due to the battery placement being in line rather than side by side.

  1. I love the profile , however 9 months outta the year I need more candela vs lumens due to my state (alaska) being dark 9 months a year 🀣 . I love the channel , and content . Right now I bounce between a TLR1HL AND the PL2 (pl2 has more candela and lumens then my x300u)

  2. BTW, to unlock strobe mode; click the button 10x's quickly, holding down on the 10th click 'til the light flashes. Same goes for the tlr7(a) and tlr8(a) as well as the vanilla tlr7 and 8. Once unlocked, just double click the button

  3. Hey brother, just wanna say, thank you for also being on top of replying to everyone! My Glock 34 was inspired by your build! I appreciate you continuing to listen to your subscribers even when you go up in followers! Love your stuff man! Keep safe!

  4. Thanks for showing the footage in your home of how the light reacts in different areas of your home. Also for talking about condela rating, most people don’t even know or ask about. Awesome review, would like to see more lights reviewed this way! Cause not every one buys a light for night shooting, mine is for defense purposes

  5. Horsepower and Torque:
Horsepower = how hard you can hit a wall
Torque = how far you can pull a wall

    Lumens and Candela:
Lumens = how bright you can illuminate a wall
Candela = the distance you can see a wall

  6. Again other great informative videoπŸ‘πŸΎ The only long Glock I have is the Glock 21 Gen 4, its looks like May a little bit more longer. But look great on your rigπŸ”₯πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ¦²

  7. I think you can use the rechargeable 18650s, if I understood MrGunsnGear correctly. I may get it eventually. Looks nice on the 34! Appreciate your work, as always. Candela throw doesn't impress me, though.

  8. It is pretty long. If in not mistaken the TLR-1HL has more candela. I have a old TLR-1HL with 800 lumens and I also have a new TLR-1HL with 1000 lumens. They are both great lights. I utilize them more than my X300U-A.

UPDATE: The TLR9 has 1,000 lumens, 10,000 candela and a beam distance of 200m.
ThE TLR-1HL has 1,000 lumens, 20,000 candela and a beam distance of 283m. This is info per streamlight's website.
