  1. Hey what's your take on shooting .40 out of a .10 carbine? I'm looking specifically at the Hi-Point 1095ts, I have so much .40 because of my EDC but I'd like the benefit of .10 for hunting. Thanks!

  2. It's about time the .40 gets some love. So much hate, sad. The $64 question for the group, are there any suggestions for extended magazines (other then the Glock 22 rnd) for the .40 CMMG Banshee? Please do not respond with ETS (these are junk).

  3. Blow back IS a big deal. I have a Just Right Carbine in 40sw….great cerakote, etc. BUT might as well be shooting a shotgun with high load 40's……not a fun gun…..now dedicated to the car trunk for shtf…… The delayed bolt on the CmmG is so smooth in both 9mm and 40cal

  4. I have the Banshee 300 in 9mm just for the fun of it, but added the 40 200 series upper which sits perfectly on the 300/9mm lower. Now I have my G27, G23, and G35 happy with my 40 mags, and with conversion barrels/extractors in the pistols to 9mm, I have matching brothers and sisters no matter what. What ever ammo is avail or on the ground, I have something to shoot. (I also have .357 sig barrels and mags for the 23 and 35….) Don't think I'm out of options for some time.

  5. Personally, I LIKE the .40 S&W round. With the right loads, they hit almost as hard as .45 ACP, but its felt recoil is closer to 9mm. I also wanted something my Wife is comfortable with.

  6. Great video Mike
    I have a question
Im looking for an AR 15 pistol for home defense
I don't want to spend alot and my budget is under $1000
I see the Ruger 556 pistol is way under my budget, this is the gun i will probably buy
But the Banshee is considerably more expensive.
Is it worth the extra money? Or is the Ruger reliable enough to get the job done.
The remaining money would be spent on ammo and training

  7. .40 s&w is my favorite. I know 9mm is the most popular, with modern bullet design it is adequate. I prefer more than adequate with the same modern bullet design. My G23 is my favorite EDC. This would be an excellent pairing. Thanks for the review.
10mm is better, unfortunately to much $$$ to practice regularly. Maybe someday it will be more popular.

  8. Federal HST's for the WIN! I stocked up on the 50 round boxes that are meant for police departments only, but some companies will sell them to civilians at times, or label them as "police trade" ammo, to get passed the restrictions from Federal.

  9. 14:26 40mm sign me up!!😊 lol The smile on your face was priceless when you were suggesting people have a caliber debate in the comment section. Lol. You know that's gonna start a shit show.🤣🤣 Another great Video! Keep up the good work Mike

  10. People like to bag on .40S&W but it actually makes alot of sense in this kind of platform especially because its alot cheaper then 10mm but getting one chamberd in 10mm and shooting 40 out of it might be the way to go.
