New York "SAFE" Act AR-15 Thorsden Customs FRS-15 Stock – 2nd Amendment – Doulos Defense

The New York quote-unquote SAFE Act is a controversial and unconstitutional law heavily restricting firearms use, ownership, sale, trade, possession, and more in New York state. We won’t get into all the rushed-into-law-overnight details here, but we’ll look at how it impacts America’s favorite rifle, the AR-15/M4 and similar quote-unquote assault weapons. Ooh, scary. This law has no bearing on reality and we’ll show that there are legal ways around it. But, again, if you’re a criminal, you don’t pay attention to the law, so this would have no affect on you.

  1. If anyone is in any State that limits you to 10 rounds, and you own one of these rifles, maybe check out the 10/10 cross magazines. You can find them only at Brownell's, I think.

  2. Feinstein actually said it about the barrel shroud not the stock which while still being completely in accurate would have been a more accurate statement (from her)

  3. Can’t wait until cuomo decides to add a background check before you can buy a damn toy gun. That’s gonna be the day I’m escaping this hell hole and bringing my guns with me.

But I guess that’s what we get for living in a blue state ran by the mentally retarded.

  4. Its not that they didn't want these features. They wanted to make the ar platform disappear from NY and they thought banning those features would do it but welcome to America good ol innovation and capitalism.

  5. Do they not understand that criminals don't follow the law so these laws dont have any effect whatsoever? Wtf is wrong with democrats!? Why are they so deranged and delusional?

  6. How are these rifles for beginners? Is that slanted grip style awkward to use? I've seen the quick loaders now for the fixed mags. Which way would you suggest for a New York (not the city) AR15? The featureless or the fixed mag. Thank you

  7. The strongest evidence gun control is more about control than public safety. Millions of Americans are employed for the purposes of engineering, manufacturing, transportation, retail and marketing of firearms and firearm related accessories, apparel and gear. Any reduction in sales from any of these industry components has an overall adverse affect on our economy.

Legislators know this. The same legislators that wish to control the individual prosperity of every American.

They are aided by less aware and or more subservient citizens, as well as selected groups of immigrants, many of who are unlawfully residing in The United States.

Look no further than the politicians that propose increases in funding social assistance programs, while imposing regulations to manufacturing, as well greater restrictions upon citizens who may wish to participate in our market driven economy.

The marketing, engineering, manufacturing, sales and transportation of firearms, also contributes to the marketing, engineering, manufacturing, sales and transportation of firearm related products. All contribute to other industries that directly and indirectly contribute to other industries.

There are many metals, minerals, polymer, and other chemical, fabric and leather suppliers that are supported by the firearm industry, and each of them support employees for the marketing, engineering, transportation and retail of their products.

This is a fact all too often ignored or overlooked by pundits on either side of any discussions around firearm regulation. Stepping away from the usual statistical arguments pertinent to criminal actions and personal protections, which often conveniently overshadow the responsibility each of our elected representatives have to limiting their legislative powers in accordance with our Constitutional provisions, we define as our inalienable human rights.

The “common sense” in gun control should be recognized as the deliberate economic subjugation of the electorate. It is a formal excuse to further oppress the individual and collective power of the citizenry. If you do not oppose every proposal to regulate any of your human rights, you may be surrendering yours and everyone else's ability to secure all of our rights.

Be aware, make aware, stay aware, and never give up.

There is a reason why politicians aggressively impose gun controls as the economy is improving, in spite of the fact unlawful firearm related homicides have not increased as the sale and ownership of firearms has. The political class knows, the more people may achieve greater prosperities and the more capable they are at protecting their prosperity, means there will be more opportunities for others to compete for the privileges the political class reserves for their own.

There are more than enough people who exercise their right to bear arms to determine the outcome of every national election, but you must get out there and vote!

For the love of liberty, vote!

Vote for your freedom. Vote for your prosperity. Not for your subjugation or the subjugation of your neighbors.

As far as I'm concerned, any and every elected official sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States who actively campaigns and or legislates against any rights protected by the Constitution may be considered a traitor.

Any proposed or enacted infringements of the rights exclaimed within the second amendment shall be acknowledged as an exhibition of contempt for the citizenry. Such actions by any individual may be traitorous. Such actions by any organized party or collective intent on imposing such governance may be interpreted as an act of war against the citizenry.

Love thy neighbor by protecting them, not by disarming them.

  8. I live in the Peoples Socialist Republic of New York. I worked for State Corrections for 25 years, 19 of which as a Firearms Instructor, and retired as a Lieutenant last year. Now that I'm retired I also have to put up with King Andy's Safe Act. Total BS, does nothing to make anyone safe, except maybe criminals, who can be reasonably assured that they will have more ammunition than their victims.

Anyway, I have a Thordsen FRS-15 Gen II stock on my rifle, and I think it's great. Much better than any of the other "featureless" options. And the notion of a "fixed magazine never even entered into my mind.

Just a point, since this video was made, the Safe Act was challenged in Federal court, and the seven round magazine load limit is no longer enforceable. That portion of NYS Penal Code Section 265 was challenged in the US District Court for the Western District of New York, and ruled unconstitutional. This ruling was upheld upon appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, Case # 14-36, Argued Dec. 9, 2014 and Decided Oct. 19, 2015. A link to the decision is provided here, Affirmation is stated in the "Conclusion", Section 3, starting on Line 14 of Page 56.

You should note that NYS still has not updated Sec. 265, other than an NB note attached to 265.23, "Large capacity ammunition feeding device".

    Say safe……

  9. I have confidence that they'll change the laws over time. Most of it makes no sense. Why cant my ak47 have a pistol grip, but a spur grip is a-ok? It's not "common sense" changes at all like the wording in the act says.

  10. The problem is,, that liberal Democrats from all over the country and the world , flock to NYC and vote reps in that do this,, I live in upstate Ny and have yet to meet 1 person up here who agrees with the safe act.

  11. why they dont have a compliance that anybody take out a gun at any place need a illuminating vest and have guns selling there need some kind of fluorescent paint on it …… that seems more smart instead of stupid compliance.

  12. upstate in new york the troopers dont care about a ar 15 they do not enfircevthat law unless your in crime
in sane gun law!!! this is nit picking people to death

  13. Here in California we have bad gun laws but not as bad as New York. We can have a muzzle device of any kind, we are allowed to have a bayonet lug and have 10 rounds in a 10 round magazine not 7. By the way we can have all the features on a .22 cal rifle like the Smith& Wesson m&p 15-22. If I’m correct New York doesn’t allow that ether.

  14. If anyone is coming back to this video that is in NY I would recommend voting for libertarian candidate Larry Sharpe for governor. He is the only one in this election who genuinely wants to repeal the SAFE act. He might not win, but it’s worth a shot.
