  1. Thank you brother! You saved me from the untold embarrassment of calling Magpul. I love the STR stock, but was having a heck of a time trying to install it. I knew what was wrong but hadn’t figured out how to compensate for the dummy round fiasco. Magpul should pay you to do their instructional videos. Like your comment about the value of the dummy round. My sentiments exactly!

  2. I know i'm super late to the game here – but I actually successfully used the dummy round, just not in the way they said to. I reached my finger into the stock tube and manually pushed the locking pin down, enough to get the dummy round lodged in between the storage tube and the metal crossbar. Then it just slid on. Thanks for the tutorial!

  3. Seven years after this video was posted and it showed me in two minutes what I spent 15 minutes trying to do with the dummy round. Was beginning to think I was the dummy. Thanks for the video👍🏻

  4. Wow wow wow, literally day and night difference in comfort when you go and rest your Cheek on it compared to standard stock😁 thanks I was wondering what is going on with this thing.

  5. thanks for the upload my rifle came with this stock needed to modify to be a fixed stock CA featureless modification… STR is my absolute favorite Magpul stock period.
