can we please get a mortar test to simulate a MALFUNCTION like brass stuck in the chamber i mortared my bcm stock today because i had brass stuck in the chamber and it shattered into 10 pieces
I dont see how the stress given to this stock is relatable to any sort of stress one could give to their rifle. Its plastic. Plastic will break.
Having recently handled one of these, it’s way more rigid than it looks. I’m impressed by this stock.
Try the aluminum version. It’s badass
This stock looks like it could be used as a hook for things depending on the situation. Kinda of like the design a little more than the ctr.
Sorry, but even if you are "buttstroking" (strange word, that) people with it, most of the energy transfer is going to dissipate, whereas blasting it witty a hammer is about as unrealistic as possible
FWIW, the failure point in mine WAS that mechanism. The pin, spring and the thingy that goes through the spring….they came undone. There is a warranty and MFT sent me those parts. I didn't know how they work and assumed it was broken, but it just needed to be tightened, so now I have a spare set
ITS A BRACE GUNPOSER
i always test all my butt stocks by beating on them with a 2 lb. dead blow hammer. Scopes and magazines and AR15s too. ROFL
This is the kind of testing I’d expect from guys that like to wear grunt style
Definitely not a carpenter
Thanks for showing my how good my MFT stock is.With that kind of abuse,I’m truly content.
Thanks for sacrificing the stock.
Is plastics it will break sooner or later
No sweat, just avoid guys with mallets and you're good
So much hate on the comments. I see value in this test. You showed the limits of this design and material which is surprising resilient. It will hold up for most rifle use. thanks for the test!
Using a dead blow on an inanimate object, does not compare to said object stroked against a moveable skull, jaw, or throat. So in short, it will hold up.
This comment section is retarded, he isn't saying the stock is weak nor is he bashing on product, it's just a demonstration showing us the limit of the stock.
I was waiting for a thumb smash!
Ahhhh of course it will break
Now do the test with a Chinese knock off and compare the two so all the morons who think paying 500% more because it’s “more reliable” can cry.
Damn Boy! You could break a 100 pound anvil.
There's now way in hell anyone is going to subject themselves and there rifle to that much punishment. I mean let's be real!
Why does every AR owner think their rifle needs to be ultra tough and burly. Ill take a light weight rifle all day long. I mean I can break anything if I want to but damn people be realistic.
Magpul pay you to break that on camera
My saw zaw rips right through it. Sux!
I still think the mft minimalist stock is a great stock. International abuse can wreak any rifle component.
Can I come by and try that on your glock or sig? Just want to see if they hold up to your test.
Thats cause you are using baby-rounds through it, once you hit puberty and use 7.62×39 then that stalk will turn into dust after the first mag
Lord have mercy, that was a stupid fucking video.
Can I have my four minutes back?
