  1. The tlr8a flex is the perfect size with the perfect amount of light for a defensive handgun. It was so good on my glock 19. That I added one on my glock 23 and my sig320c. And by changing from the high switch to yje low switch. It made a good light to a great light. Streamlight makes a great light at a great price. I had mounted a protac HLX on my ar15 and another on my ar9 carbines. And added the cloud defensive light control mount. And they are perfect on both weapons. The ar9 is my home defensive weapon. And it's just prefect for its intended use. And I use the sig 320c as my backup weapon. Both lights have great power to blind and disorientate a subject and give me a definite advantage. And while I understand that a lit of individuals don't care for the strobe function. I used a surefire 6p light as a federal law enforcement officer. And learned to strobe the light useing the pressure switch. And even though it's only a 60 lumen light. The dimpled reflector puy out a fairly good amount of light and enough to screw up anyone's vision in a lowlight or no light situation. And as a retired federal lsw enforcement officer and a firearms certified trainer. It was a part of my training regime. Strobe is just like a flashbulb going off in a darkened room. And basically the person in front pg yje light won't see anything but white flashes for several seconds. But has never bothered me. Are weapons lights a necessary piece of equipment for handguns or long guns. Based on my experience in law enforcement. Definitely. During my time in Vietnam it would have very limited use. But as a private citizen it's important to understand that you have to ne absolutely sure of the threat before useing deadly force. That's why I carry a pocket size light as part of my edc. And training for low light and no light situations is a must for all responsible individuals. For my home defensive situations I keep Electronics ear protection with my primary weapon. And it gives me yjr advantage to hear them before they hear me or see me.

  2. What size 509 did you mount the TLR 7A on? I have a FN 509c and tried to mount the TLR 7A on it, however it wouldn’t mount flush to the trigger guard… there was always a gap between the trigger guard and the most rear part of the light assembly. Any advice?

  3. This is a very good video. I just got this light and was looking for more information on how to use it since it’s a first time with one of these.

  4. Is it possible to get a low switch on the right side and high on the left? I don’t want my index finger of my shooting hand to have any interference when transitioning into the trigger guard. I also like the high version for the left side as it’s easier to activate with my left thumb, any suggestions?
