I forgot to mention, the Black receiver set I have is a blem. Which is why there's a couple of machining marks. Also my buffer spring is worn out, which is why the ejection pattern is off.

Reminds me of my Seekins Precision receiver set that I was able to hunt down piece by piece and build. Have the NX15 Lower, NOXS Handguard and NX15 Upper along with all the lower parts from Seekins and tossed a Geissele super 42 H2 buffer & Braided spring in there with a Ballistic Advantage barrel and a Q Cherry bomb, Man does it shoot flat as can be. Out of every AR I own and have ever shot, it shoots the best. It has next to no recoil and can shoot shot after shot on top of each other consistently. I will be doing the BOGO order for this Ascend Sets.

I guess if it floats your boat. My favorite lower is Palmetto Stealth lower, $100 and in stock.

Talk about the Warsport LVOA-C… I found an upper once lol. Would be nice to get one someday. They’re some nice collector’s items.

Imagine being so in demand you go out of business… legion has had the design for a few years now they still don’t have them for another 7-8 months?? Business model is terrible or someone needs to be fired.

The video review on Legion Precision’s website says a set is $450. If this set is $699 how in the world is this BOGO? Plus $50 shipping?

Wow thanks for posting this. I had not heard of Ascend Armory before your video. I run 3 Gun and definitely can see the care that went into the methods they used. I run a 4lb 9 oz AR (dry) with red dot for my scoped tactical setup. I was looking at the Battle Arms development lightweight receiver set for the next build which will be an open division setup. But this weighs the same as the BAD and they are throwing in another set, I placed my order. Looking forward to getting my hands on this and seeing in person the quality of the build. I have the Fortis set and it still tips the scale at almost 15oz. I also have the F1 and while it is milled out it is surprisingly heavier than my AR I run for the scoped tactical division. Love the content and the honesty, keep it up. Stay safe.

I wanted one of these sets for years and couldn't get ahold of one. Found Quentin Defense and I'm super pleased! Although the kid who took my order didn't know the difference between a 10% and a $10 discount 😂 but I digress.

So I haven't built a AR-15 but I have looked at buying one and I have looked at DD systems and BCM Reece 16. What would you recommend as far as choosing between the one you just talked about or these other two companies

Yeah. Nobody will buy it except the channel owner. Whatever gun you buy right now is gonna be insane because of ammo prices.
