Bushnell 3-9×40 AR Optics Scope BDC Reticle

Bushnell AR optics scope with a BDC Reticle is a good rifle scope for the money. I’ve had my AR optics scope for several years and it has performed very well.

The bullet drop compensation reticle is good for averaging the range to most targets but your point of impact will change with different ammo.

  1. Just had a warranty issue.  They advised they could not fix my scope.  Here is what the paperwork states, "Because the cost for repair exceeds replacement, the offer is to purchase a new model at a discounted price of $250"  Are you kidding me?  No more Bushnell for me.  BTW this BS letter came from Vista Outdoor in Kansas.

  2. Sweet Windham rifle you have you Bushnell mounted to. Thanks for the video and the throw lever idea. Like others have said that's the only thing I dislike on this optic.

  3. I've been playing with Strelok, and this reticle will not work with 55gr and 62 gr bullets at any velocity.

It will work perfectly with 75gr FMJs or HPs at 2700 fps zeroe'd 85 yards – no holding over with that load, all the dots are almost right on out to the 600 yard post. At 2650 fps, you have to zero at 60 yards.

I'm thinking about picking up one of these scopesas a beater, but I would've been frustrated without a ballistics program.

  4. Nice review. I bought the newer version of the same scope which now comes with a throw lever included. I put it on my Savage MSR Recon and plan to do some coyote hunting with it. I thought it was a great value for the money. I got it at a local gun shop for $184.00 and got a $40 rebate back from Bushnell.

  5. If you can't see it through this scope, it's too dark to shoot regardless. I don't miss having the ill ret for a second. Minimal hold unders and overs if you shoot 300 poa/poi and remember your other holds.
